The best Resident evil remake yet. Visually phenomenal, game play is very streamlined just like re2&re3 remakes. Sole of the game itself has been tweaked to give a unique play through experience vs the original.

Outstanding game play, graphics, and new elements to the game. Perfectly done to preserve the integrity of the original while being pleasantly surprised by the subtle new additions. 10/10

RE4R is a great adaptation of the original to modern hardware and tech. It doesn't replace the original, it stands on its own as a great game

I played the orignal game fron 2005 countless times over. And while some have bemoaned the changes for this remake their compints are largely negligible. Combat is just as enjoyable as it was in the original minus some enemies being bullet sponges, Ashley being at risk of getting carried away though unlike the original you don’t need to watch her health. Weapons are largely enjoyable except the bolt thrower and Assault Rifle due to it using rifle ammo which can be oretty scarce. Game will take at least 15 hours to complete on a first playthrough especially if you’re teying to collect all treasures. Don’t know where the RE Remake train is headed to next but this game will be a bit of tough act to follow.

Really like this remake with many cash grabs at half baked re relases, remasters, and so called remakes. This is the most real as it gets. The game breaths new life into a timeless classic!

as a RE fan I am having the time of my life playing all these remakes. they are amazing and I love that i can play them on PS5 with a real disc. i have played 3 and 4 so far and cannot wait for the first one. must have all of them if you love RE. good quality and very scary still to this day.

I loved everything from the redesigned music, graphics, story, art style. It’s been very faithful to the original, with only a few things being swapped out or removed. Very great experience!

Exactly what you want to see in a newer videogame release. Quality. Quality is everything and this game is polished, fun, exciting, and everything every video game should be. FUN!!!!!

A really well made remake of a 2005 GameCube game. Controls are definitely upgraded with an current control scheme. Graphics are also richly upgraded throughout. For most my complaints don't matter, but I've played the original too much not to point out some slight differences. These are changes they made from original with items & locations. There are still puzzles here, but streamlined to get you back in the action.

Big RE fan. This game doesn’t disappoint. The graphics are top notch, lots of weapons good story. Capcom added mercenaries for free and soon a VR option Weill be added for free as well.

Another awesome remake! This game was already perfect when it was first released but man… They some how made it better. Very modern controls and the graphics are incredible.

I played the original many years ago and hated the fact that you couldn't aim and shoot at the same time. This remake changed that and the gameplay is so much fun for me now. The graphics are great and there's not much to dislike with this version. If you're a newcomer or fan of the RE series, you'll definitely enjoy this game.

Just addicting to play as the original game! The original story is still intact and all characters and levels and environments have been fleshed out to create a superior version of RE4!

Capcom has been on a roll lately with resident evil, and part 4 is another on the list of must buys! Graphics are scary good and gameplay is the same fun you remembered years ago
