Love this game! Excellent graphics and gameplay. Brings back memories!

Great remake. Graphics are crisp, gameplay is smooth. It even comes with a free digital VR version of the game (downloadable on PlayStation network). Not to mention the $30 Christmas sale price i purchased it for is a fair retail value of the game.

I never played the original part 4, so I kinda went in blind with this one, but I’m SO glad I did! The graphics and gameplay are fantastic! The story is fun and the bosses are great. I had such a blast playing this game and recommend it to anyone who is into the spooky/scary RE games. 5 stars!

If you enjoyed resident evil 4 or if you hadn’t played it at all, this is a very well done remake. It’s very similar just updated with easier camera movements and better graphics. Some characters have more enjoyable personalities and overall much better than the previous remakes for resident evil.

The original RE4 was a landmark game that had a ton of influence on the third-person shooter & survival horror genres, so a remake had big shoes to fill, but they managed to (in my opinion) one-up the original and make the best game in the series overall! I 100% completed this and loved every second.

A stunning remake of an already stunning game. The controls have been updated to make movement and combat responsive, satisfying, and fun. The graphics are excellent but perhaps held back by having previous gen versions. The sound design is excellent. Overall it's one of the best games I've played this year.

The original ResE4 came out when I was 2. I've never played the original release of it. However, I have played all the recent games (7, 8, 2 remake, 3 remake + all the dlcs) and was planning on buying this anyway. This game blew me away. It was so much more fun than any other one I've played and it has already become my new favorite ResE game. The combat is easy and feels satisfying, the graphics and setting look amazing, and the story is perfect. I have to knock it down for having achievements based on difficulty, but other than that it's perfect.

This was fun to play! Enjoyed each minute and am excited for the next one!

as a RE fan I am having the time of my life playing all these remakes. they are amazing and I love that i can play them on PS5 with a real disc. i have played 3 and 4 so far and cannot wait for the first one. must have all of them if you love RE. good quality and very scary still to this day.

One of the greatest games ever created and now it has been completely remade using a new engine. The game is nearly perfect from the visuals to the gameplay.

RE4 was one of my favourite games when it launched back in 2005. A longtime fan of the series, I found it to be a fresh take that moved the franchise in the right direction, by making it faster pace, and adding more exploration and new combat/camera angles. When I heard the remake announcement, i was excited but nervous, as I was afraid they might chance things I loved about it. Capcom hot this one out of the park, however. Everything i loved about the original was still there, but the gameplay and visuals were absolute stunning improvements. The best change was the storyline and voice acting. The story was improved and added upon to gove it more depth and better flow, and the voice actors delivered memorable and realistic portrayals. I was beyond satisfied with this remake, and incredibly thankful I purchased it when I did. I tried finding it elsewhere first, but only Best Buy had it in stock in my town. Thanks for coming through, Best Buy!

If you enjoyed the original RE4, then you will absolutely love this remake! It’s almost perfect in every way! Definitely a must buy!

I enjoyed how much they have improved over the 2005 game, everything about this game is great, gameplay, graphics, enemies, location, pacing and best of all you can replay the game a lot of times because every time you find a new way to get past a section, boss or enemy.

From OG Resi in 96 to this remake of one of the GOAT’s in gaming I can proudly say that Capcom has created an amazing new formula in what it means to play a survival/horror title in the modern era. The RE engine is beautiful and the combat is tense and brutal.

Loved every second of it. Amazing game. Little scary at first but gets better. The action is awesome.

Re4 was already one of if not the best Resident Evil game and this remake takes everything that made it great and made it better. Removed some weaker sections from original that actually makes the remake run a lot smoother not just gameplay but story wise.

Resident Evil 4 Remake aka REmake 4 is a fantastic remake. Let's be real. This game does not need to exist. The original was good the way it was, but Capcom knew how to change it up and they did flawlessly. There are definite negatives to the game like it is a bit more difficult than it needs to be and it still looks great, but for a game in 2023 I feel like it should run a bit better like the other games in the series, but it still gets my approval as someone who jas been with the series since 1998. A must have for Resident Evil fans.
