Resident Evil 7 is fantastic and brings the series back to its horror filled roots. Around every corner there lies danger and scares abound as you try to escape the clutches of the horrifying Baker family.

Resident Evil 7 makes a return to the survival horror gameplay of the eariler Resident Evil games. And it is good. If you didn't enjoy RE6 you will love this game. VR mode makes the game much scarier.

I feel like it's been a long time since there has been a great Res game. Finally the freaky and scary game world of resident evil is back. Can be hard at times and scary as well but well worth playing

This game is great! For what it is and Capcom choosing to go back to the survival horror roots, they did an amazing job. The game is intense, face-paced, and never lets up with its in your face approach.

This game brings Resident Evil back to its horror roots in a big way. The story is excellent and the combat works well too. The transition to first person makes you feel even more involved in the horror.

If you are a Resident Evil fan than you must own this game. New cast of characters, new and faster enemies, tense and intense gameplay and a scary, dark, old plantation. What could be better than that?

This game brings resident evil back to the roots of survival horror while adding new and fresh elements to the gameplay. I highly suggest this game for anyone who liked the original resident evil games

Definitely a piece of work and addition to the Resident Evil franchise BUT the fact they cut the gameplay to 10 hours for the base game and same day released DLC to expand the story is extremely irritating. If you can find a deal or want to support the game as is, I would definitely recommend it at this point (for a lower price tag).

I bought resident evil 7 because I had bought a psvr headset, I have been playing this game nonstop and so far so good

I love the VR version but go to settings and change the left and right to the controller, will improve the exprerience

I was a bit skeptical going into this--I wasn't sure that going first-person would save the series for me after RE 5 + 6 let me down. But RE7 is awesome, and it's especially awesome in VR. Play it!

The game's storyline is amazing. I have to complete it but it's so scary. You never know what's coming out of any corner. It's definitely one of the scariest Resident Evil games I've played in years.

I really dont care for scary games but had to get this for psvr. I already played it on xbox and thought it would be cool in vr. The story and surroundings are very immersive but just like other psvr games on the original ps you do get jagged edges and small text is a little blurry. I consider it worth it.

I don't scare easy. I thrive on horror. And yet this game terrified me. Not on the regluar playthrough mind you. But using the VR. Nothing out there can compare. You won't sleep well. I guarantee.

Great Resident Evil game in general, one of the best in years for sure. However, if you have PSVR this is a must buy game! Played through the entire game in VR and it is an incredible experience!!

This game is an awesome addition to its resident evil story line, and the updated graphics are great. Unfortunately the story is only about 8 hours long, and the replay ability is not there. Tons of other games have longer stories that are more bang for your buck. Wait until it's on sale before purchasing do not pay full price.

Resident Evil VII is one of the best Resident Evil games of all time. It brings the series literally back from the dead especially with the awful Resident Evil 6 and breathes new life into the series and introduces something never done in RE history, First Person, but not like you think. It's not an action Call of Duty Gears of War first person shoot em up, but a scary, dark always looking around the corner horror game. You are given little guns and ammo and must decide whether to kill what's in front of you or run for your life. The game isn't too long and the DLC is well worth the $30. Plenty of replayability once you beat it. Play this if you enjoy Resident Evil or scary games.

I was not a fan of RE6, but consider RE4 to be a modern classic. That being said, RE 7 is a completely different type of game; it hearkens back to its roots. It's an example of a game that is simple in concept, but executed extremely well. A buy, for sure. The only downside is that I cannot imagine playing the game more than 1x.

If you like horror games this game is fantastic, if you like classic resident evil and don't mind the first person perspective you will like this game, great graphics, good plot, very memorable

Resident Evil returns to it's survival horror roots, and it's all the better for it. Great game with some truly creepy and intense moments. Highly recommended for fans of the Resident Evil series.
