This is not a scary CGI filled movie. It's like watching somebody play a videogame – and I can follow along the story. The English dubbed is done fairly well, and the story is quite good. The main character is sent to a small East Bloc country but then was pulled out at the beginning of the movie. Instead of leaving the country, he decided to stay and investigated the monster that attacked him. I bought a Blu-ray version, and it looks very good on my big-screen (4K screen plus 4K upscaler). It was on sale for less than six dollars, and it really does cost less than the DVD version, so I thought I might as well pick up a copy for my growing collection on the way out. A good buy for me.

And a great story to add to the canon. I'm glad they brought back Ada and it's interesting to see what else Leon has been doing.

If you're a fan of the iconic game series and are either itching for something more faithful than the Paul Anderson series, or simply in need of more RE goodness, than look no further than this film. Leon returns once again to fight crimes against nature in this action-horror flick. Just don't expect the more dreadful moments of the classic games, but instead more of the Hollywood cheese of Resident Evil 4, sadly without as many of the great oneliners Leon dispensed in that famous entry of the series.

I thought at some point in my life i had seen a perfect video game to movie adaptation but boy was i wrong, sure the first two or three resident evil movies were fun to watch but this movie takes all the great moments in the story of the game (RES4) along with the intense action scenes with the slow mo effect (capcom does that a lot), plus my favorite resident evil character, LEON. and the girl who left us hanging in resident evil 4, ADA WONG. And sure they didn't include umbrella corp, so what? Just because something was kinda their fault doesn't mean every star of resident evil should assemble and take down their head quarters, if that happened we wouldn't have the t-virus now would we. I know a horrible movie when I see one and this is not it.

If you watched their previous movie Resident Evil Degeneration the 3d graphics were a little on the poor side. The acting was bad and the voice synching was a little off. With Resident Evil Damnation they stepped up the game with both graphics and acting. The story line was easier to get into, the action shots are pretty impressive for a 3d animated feature. In the suspense/ horror side I found myself at the edge of my seat, pretty intense. If you have played any of the resident evil games this feels true to the game. I was pretty happy with this purchase. I also am a huge resident evil fan and felt this is truer to Capcom's view of their series.

This is one of the cooler Resident Evil movies as it literally gives you a storyline as if from the game itself. Followed by the 2 coolest characters in the franchise that only the last live action film picked up on. Well worth the buy and I do recommend since I have the entire film collection.

Great movie. I love Leon ever since playing resident evil 4 and love this character. I think the movies are a little cash cow but I'm perfectly fine with this. I took one star because they didn't make a dvd/bluray combo but besides that, get this movie if your a resident evil fan.

I'm a sucker for the Resident Evil franchise. They're not the best films in the world but they're a guilty pleasure of mine. I prefer the live action films over the animated series but now that they have collided in Retribution, I am fully immersing myself in the entire cinematic mythos.

The live action Resident Evil movies is more akin to an action movie compared with the games which is more horror (survival horror) in nature. This animated movie is more like the games and brings back memories. Won't spoil any plot points. Just surprise yourself.

This is the second CGI movie that was done for the resident evil series. Therefore, there's been an update with the graphics and voice acting. And if your already a fan of series you'll definitely love the story here to.

I liked the first movie with Milla Jovovich, but this has a different feel to it. The CGI is very well done and the action is fast and furious. I've never played the game but may look at it now based on this.

This is one of my favorite CGI movies besides Final Fantasy the Advent Children. It has some jump scares, lots of action and crazy boss fights. If you are a RE fan or like zombie movies, this is a must see.

Great movie. Enjoy watching the resident evil original movies. Very good definition and story is amazing. Actually gets you up your seat with the graphics and detail!

Good movie for fans of the video game and the movie series a like it seems to take a little more from the games but explains things in case you haven't played the game.

Enough said. There are zombies and other monsters strong than zombies. If you like the RE series, this may be worth watching once or twice.

It's a good continuation of the last RE CG movies, which falls into the game series' canon. Can't really say much more than that.

I thought it was an ok movie. I am a huge fan of the game series and it was nice to see the RE2 cast back in action.

Now this movie is another part of the animation series but each and every single one is all connected to the live-action movies so I highly recommend this/these versions of Resident Evil animated/cartoons but I do prefer the movies and connections linked to them all!

I grew up with the Resident Evil titles, and I'm glad that I finally own all of the animated movies. Leon is such an awesome character and it's good to see more of him outside of his respective games.

Good buy for any resident evil fans shows what Leon has been up to after the events of part 4
