This movie is one of the best from the Resident Evil cinematic franchise, solely based on the fact that 5 main protagonists from the main video games come together to tell an action packed story. This is the first time I see Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine together and I really liked the vibe. I strongly recommend any Resident Evil fan to buy this movie, I appreciate the 4K resolution and it comes in a Collector's Edition Steelbook case. My Resident Evil Death Island steelbook case came in excellent condition.

A must-watch for Resident Evil fans. Great zombie action, interesting villain, and most importantly we finally get to see all of the main characters share the screen! It's the 4th CGI RE film (Degeneration, Damnation, and Vendetta were the first 3), along with the Netflix episodic series (Infinite Darkness), so hopefully we keep getting more content directly interconnected to the video games!

Steelbook arrived on the day it was suppose to and came in perfect quality

If I wasn't a big RE fan, I probably wouldn't have gotten the steelbook version. The only reason you would want to watch this movie is to see(almost) all the RE protagonists interacting with each other on screen. For anything less than the most diehard of RE fan, wait for a sale and just get the non-steelbook version.

If you're a fan of Capcom's Resident Evil games, I probably don't need to sell you on this but even if you're a casual fan like I am, you will appreciate this steelbook presentation for Resident Evil: Dead Island. These Capcom games always have excellent character and creature design and with some of the more recent games, some of these characters, like Jill Valentine have been redesigned and the new character models are amazing and, Jill, in particular, are absolutely gorgeous. The great thing about Dead Island is it brings many of the characters from all of the games together to tell one story and the steelbook is an excellent opportunity to showcase all of these characters and creatures. There's a fantastic widescreen shot of Jill and one of the boys on the inside covers of the steelbook. If you're a fan of these Capcom games, you'll want to have one of these.

Cool steel book first off. The film is a typical animation Resident Evil movie. If you play the games then these are fun tie in stories, but they are nothing all that compelling. It’s not the best nor is it the worst of them, but it does have all the original cast members here and they do all come together to fight a…stupid whinny bad guy with a death wish. Also ties a loose thread or two from Vendetta I think. The animation is pretty good and looks even better in 4K, though I think there plenty of room for improvement. If you’re a Resident Evil fan then I recommend it and if you’re not then I’d recommend a pass.

This movie is a good one, it's really fun and full of entertainment. Def recommend it. 100% Resident Evil fan!

This one is sort of like the avengers of the Resident evil animated movies. Uniting nearly all of the Resident evil main characters. If they had used the character models from all the remake games it would've better. Still its a decent watch. The steelbook looks great. Hopefully a 4k none steelbook version will be released aswell.

Really good movie for classic RE fans. Brings the whole cast back from the original games and gives each of them a spotlight. Watched this with my friends who arent RE fans and we were rooting for all of them, especially in the action scenes. Great fun.

Movie of course is not as deep as other acion shooter/ survival movies, nevertheless, I love it. I love being able to see characters I love in a movie format, while also having it in steelbook format.

This is a direct sequal to resident evil vendetta if you hBe that you may want to watch it first but this is the best re animated movie the cg looks fantastic if your a fan of the series this is a must watch

The whole gang is here minus a few important characters. I like how the make references to game stories. Additionally, so cool that Leon and Jill met! Great movie. First steel book too. The case is sick

One of the better movies that resident evil has to offer

It’s a really interesting film, it feels a step down a bit from the last movie. But it has some polished story like how it all started with Raccoon City. Also the 4K image is not bad, not excellent.
