This game embodies everything a Resident Evil fan like me wants. A great use of survival horror, jumpscares, conservation of items, creepy characters and awesome boss fights. I'm really happy Capcom experimented with the series in a different way because this is one of the best Resident Evil games in the franchise. It feels original and the replay-value is high with this game. Resident Evil Village is definitely a huge contender for 2021 Game of the Year. A lot of Resident Evil content over the years made it to the Game Awards. That alone makes me happy for the future of this franchise and what the future has in store for future horror games. This game is awesome and certainly worth your time and money!

Fantastic story. Great graphics. Plays well and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Puzzles are super fun and goes well with pace of game. If you're a resident evil fan, you gotta have this edition.

Love the Resident Evil franchise! Was skeptical of their decision to go first person since one of the key features of the series is it's awesome cast of hero/heroines and their unique looks but I reapected their decision to attempt to change it up for 7 and ended up loving the experience. This one takes that and expands the lore and makes it feel more grand where seven felt more claustrophobic for most of the game and I really enjoyed the change of pace and scenery. If you didn't like seven then this isn't going to change that but if you did and want to see where this first person version of re games goes then give it a shot.

My biggest worry with Village was that it would try and take too much from Resident Evil 4. RE4 is one of my favorite games ever, but it can very much be left alone going forward. Thankfully, not only does RE8 manage to mainly get away from those vibes after the first few hours, but after finishing the game and digesting all the story and characters to come with it, I would have to say that the two game stretch of 7 and 8 is the best pair of games the series has put out since 1 and 2. Following up with Ethan in what is now essentially a two-part saga was handled really well and in the future I will probably revisit these games as one rollercoaster experience.

Amazing game as always. It has little old school feel to it but with slight open world aspect. Good intensity and trial and errors. Not easy either but fun challenging not frustrating.

Amazing experience!! Overall the graphics, story, gameplay were all great. I personally loved RE7 and this took it to a whole new level. Thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end!!

This video game is actually looking great on the PS5 It's worth the money, even though the story gameplay is only 12 hours, but it has a good explanation ending.

This game is fantastic! Any survival horror fan should play it. The story is fantastic and the game has much more action than RE7. One of my favorite resident evils

This game is absolutely amazing. Fantastic graphics and amazing details on texture. Story line is phenomenal, great tie in to previous titles. Well worth the money!

WOW! I absolutely love ALL the Resident Evil games and own them all, all the way from the PS1 to the GAMECUBE to the Wii and 3DS and now to the PS5. I have to say that this game is a MASTERPEICE! It is dreadfully beautiful and scary and I cant stop playing it. At times I have to quit playing because I dont want to finish it. I dont want it to end! I even re started it a few times because it was so amazing I had to do it again from the beginning. TIPS: Red Rooms on the map means you missed something. Blue rooms are clear. Dont sell your meat or anything that says Customizable.

This game has elements of previous resident evil games but also is experimental and trys new things which you may love or not , there is a resident evil 4 vibe from this game but it also has many new things that makes this game different from other entries in the series , i would definitely recommend giving it a try. I wasnt a huge fan of resident evil 7 that much but i didnt totally hate it either , village is a lot better in my opinion but not perfect by any means but the story is enjoyable and it keeps you hooked and interested to keep playing to see what happens next.

Great graphics, really fun continuation of the story from RE7. Difficulty curve on hard is no joke, but worth your time if you like these games

Amazing graphics, gameplay and of course the puzzles and items needed to solve them are all part of this great game. Do not underestimate Mother Miranda she is large and in charge. As one plays the game the music will change when she is near and in close pursuit. Foot steps and the open and closing of doors are all part of the frightening and suspenseful experience to this game. As state above if Mother Miranda is close Ethan Winters will experience pain like no other as she extends those razor sharp claws when she attacks. Play, play, play and enjoy!

Absolutely an amazing game. It's one of my favorite series since I was a kid, even Silent Hill. Beautiful graphics, great story, awesome gameplay.

Great game. A lot more action than re7 with mote bosses. A bit less scary but amazing overall. Improved graphics and more open areas to explore.

Great continuation This game is good on the PS5. It's worth the money. The story is short (approx 12hr gameplay) but it has a good ending.

My God this game is beautiful. I love everything about it so far. I loved the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3 and Village is amazing. I love everything about the gameplay, all the weapons and ammo supply, health and hidden treasures. The characters and setting makes the game so fun and also Lady Dimitrescu... I mean she's the best part for sure. This game is absolutely worth buying. I love the village and if they made a spinoff/prequel based off of Village I'd buy it instantly. Cant wait for RE9

I really enjoyed this game, great graphics, horror. If you are a fan of resident evil then this game is definitely for you
