This is one of my favorite resident evils to date. The graphics and storyline are amazing.

The game has a good pace and there's a lot of action. The environment has a great layout and it's easy to navigate throughout the village. Make sure to play through completion for the final stage and to unlock extra content. I didn't play RE7 so I can't make any comparison. However, I ranked the following PS4 RE titles in order that I completed: 1) RE4 HD 2)RE2 Remake 3)RE8 4)RE3 Remake

It was a fun game to play. Didn't take a very long time, but enjoyed the story and game play

Great game definitely worth it it’s not a super huge game but the graphics and story are great reminds me of RE 4

Fantastic sequel to RE7. Great graphics, and better action than 7, while still maintaining good levels of horror.

The game is like of greatest hits run of the best elements from most of the RE games over the years. But in FPS mode so some aspects of horror are stronger, others a bit weaker. Its a limited open world, you must defeat the bosses in order, but the village acts as a somewhat hub that new parts open up for you to explore and hidden items to find. It is about 8-10 hours, but that 8-10 hours is actually fun. And once you beat it, you open up challenge modes, Merc mode etc. So there is replay value. The story is your typical cheesy, plot hole, and hammy acting RE fair. Its def in the so bad its good territory. Hard to explain unless you play it. But there are some points where you want to slap Ethan for his stupidity but you just laugh at it in the end. Overall prob worth the full price for the experience.

While this gets frustrating at points, it is overall a great game. Lots of detail and action.

If you loved RE7 then this is the game for you. It looks exactly the same for the most part, but the game layout is much better and interesting. I loved how the super super morbidly obese merchant just pops up wherever you go and you can buy all your upgrades and nick nacks as needed. Kids love this game too. Gives them nightmares, but I keep the bedroom door locked so no middle of the night interruptions.

Resident Evil needs to quit! If you didn't need a defibrillator for Biohazard, you need to check your pulse! This game . . . what else can you say about Resident Evil games. Plenty of jump scares! Plenty of stress! Graphics off the chart. Storyline good. Lady Dimitrescu is Momma Dearest!! This game on VR would definitely require oxygen and a defibrillator. Great game! Love it!!!!

With a great balance of action and horror, this is easily one of the best of 2021.

I love this game, but it feels a little short compared to the last few entries in the series. Also, there is no VR support. Other than those complaints, this game is top-notch.

Resident Evil 8 is a visual spectacle with a great open world. While the story has some minor issues, it still provides a wonderful survival horror experience, serving as a great sequel to Resident Evil 7.

Resident Evil VIII was a great game, so if you are a returning Resident Evil player, don't hesitate to purchase it any further. The game has all of the classic gameplay mechanics fans are familiar with: puzzles, weapon upgrades, and scary moments. I found it was definitely worth the sixty bucks and I can't wait to see what the next installment will bring. The reason why I am knocking off a star is because of the trophies. I typically platinum Resident Evil games, but this one seemed out of reach for me. I feel like I have to play it way too many times to complete every quest, and during the second play through, I found myself a bit disinterested since I already knew the story and the twists. Either way, it's worth it!
