If you liked resistance fall of man then you will love this game resistance 2 improves on everything from first one the new chimera are awesome such as the fury the chameleon online is much better and more fun because of co op and the classes (speck ops medic and soldier) also the ability to go into houses is like call of duty 4 and we all kno the succes with that game overall id say this is well worth it...great game

I was invited to play in both the private beta, and the public beta for the game. The original Resistance was an amazing game but insomniac takes it a step further. Campaign mode is not available in the betas, but what is available, the coop and competitive is amazing. They introduce classes with this game that are perfectly integrated and team work is essential. Pre-order the game, and buy a microphone!

This game is the best game you can get on the playstation 3 . This game has one of the best story modes of all times. It picks right up from where the last one left off. To go along with the great levels the graphics are amazing. They took the last image of the chimera and made it 100x better. The only bad thing about this is the weapons get boring after a while.

Having played both the original Resistance and the beta, I thought I was prepared for Resistance 2. Wrong. The fightscenes were as intense as the first, and the updated weaponry will leave your jaw dropping. Try peaking around the corner with an Auger, then pull back and snipe them through the walls. The ending was truly jaw dropping. An epic game for sure.

I never played the first Resistance, but heard good things about the first one so I brought R2. I was very pleased with the story line and at first the online wasn't working but it has been working great. One thing that could be changed is having the ablitiy to pick ranked matches. The random search option is to limited. Otherwise a great game.

this game did not keep my attention very long, it seemed to be lacking variety in play. i am not a FPS fanatic but i do like games like call of duty 4 and 5, which are FPS games. the enemies on this game are repetative and that is probably part of the lack of interest. i mainly got this game to kill time waiting for something else to come out and i thought it would be a good game to play but i wasnt impressed with the way they executed the game. the wierd thing is, it is one of those games that a couple of friends of mine have agreed it wasnt that great but noone can seem to pinpoint what it is about the game that makes it not so great. i woudl recommend renting this game rather than purchasing the first time. i guess it would be ok to buy it if you love every FPS game that comes out but i am not a big FPS game fan. i played halo on xbox and beat it on legendary, it was neat but the last level was a pain, i played halo 2 and it was more like halp 1 so i lost interest fast. there is something about the game that has a "been there, done that, this is boring" feel to it. i am a trophy junkie, and i sold the game a week after i got it instead of working on the trophies, i guess if i could find a copy for $20 i would buy it just to get the trophies, but i definatly wouldnt pay $60 for this game. i would strongly urge to borrow or rent this game before purchasing, or check out Call of duty 4 and call of duty 5 (call of duty 4 doesnt have trophies)

I recomend this game highly for the SOLO Play. The Solo play is very good game and great story line. I do not care for the online play. I feel that the online play gets boring as you do the same missions over and over again. For Online gaming I reocomend CALL OF DUTY but for Solo play I give this 5 stars.

This game is great. It is very good and I am so glad that I brought it today. The Beta was ok but when you actually play the real game you will see that it is very good and better then the beta. I would highly reccomend anyone with a Playstation 3 to buy this wonderful and terrific game

I have had the opportunity to play Resistance I & II. I have to say this game takes the FPS experience to another level. Being that the first Resistance came out when the PS3 first came out. This game is great. The experience is awesome. You're gameplay has changed as well. Its as though the detail or more clear, sharper and they got it right with this game.

Fantastic game. Let me say that again, fantastic game. The graphics are beautiful, especially the San Francisco level. But the real gem here is the multiplayer. There are two modes, cooperative and competitive. Cooperative is the most fun IMO as you are on a team of up to 8 fighting Chimera. They recently introduced a "hard" mode for co-op where the Chimera are much stronger and tougher. If you haven't played this yet, go out and get it right now and try it. You won't regret it.

After loving Resistance, I had high expectations for Resistance 2. Unfortunately, Resistance 2 didn't live up to my expectations and I was ultimately disappointed. I can't really put my finger on it, but Resistance 2 had a different feel than Resistance, which left me disinterested. I have to admit that prior to buying Resistance 2, I had played Resistance to the point that I was just over Resistance, so maybe that feeling of boredom carried over to Resistance 2. Even though I was over Resistance, I was hoping that Resistance 2 would give me the same excitement that Resistance had, but it didn't.

Everything about this game rocks, there is no other way to put it. Play the coop it is the best of the best

I absolutely loved Resistance, because the 2-player cooperative mode let me and my wife share the game at the same time. I couldn't wait to get R2 so we could keep having that kind of fun... But, that mode is gone. If you were looking for it like I was, save your money. If you've already bought the game, please email Insomniac Games and let them know you want this feature back! This game picks up where Rfom left off. The co-op play is reason enough to buy it. The campaign mode is fun and not to short. The graphics could have been a little better in some areas ,such as explosions and fire, but this doesn't take away from the fun of the game. There are fewer weapons in this than the first game. This could be fixed later with dlc. If they release new maps for co-op play this game will be a reason to buy a PS3.

The gameplay and story are mediocre. The weapons become limited and boring. It's a stright line thru the game with boring bosses. It was an enjoyable game but not memorable

I have been playing the beta and am thoroughly impressed by it. Can't wait for the game to release.

I'm sorry to say after much anticipation for this game I was a little dissapointed. The campain mode on the game is pretty good but the problem is with the online side of the game. I can care less if you can play with up to 60 players in a match if the game play and graphics are poor....which they are. I dont understand how the first Resistance was good in campain mode and online mode and this one isnt. I really, really want to like this game all the way around but I find myself wishing that I would have bought C.O.D. instead.

Cant play the game all the way through on co-op. IF you like 1st person shoot'em ups it still fun with good graphics.
