My purchase were gifts for older kids. They were very happy to get them and began to setup and play. It was our first VR and it was fun. The 3 stars are due to the controller. We never did get that to pair with our iPhones.

A cheap way to see what is possible with this technology. I'm assuming the way more expensive lines put out by Samsung, playstation, oculus and so on are pretty amazing compared to this, but until they become affordable, this is an affordable preview.

I was really looking forward to the Utopia VR unit. The apps available looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the unit was damaged with a chip out of one lens and then i discovered that my smartphone would not work as a VR device. I was actually thinking of upgrading my phone but the store did not have a replacement so I simply returned the Utopia device. I liked the concept and the design/construction seemed OK for the price. I would still like to recommend it but check your phone first to make sure it will function properly as VR device.

I only gave this 3 stars because it seemed a bit awkward mounting my phone. The cover seemed to pop open too easily making it possible for your expensive smartphone to fall out and hit the floor or pavement. The apps you can use with it are OK but I was underwhelmed by the unit overall.

The VR works great but i expect a better controller for the extra that i paid for it, it came with problems on the analog stick and is unusable, upset about that, but the VR it self is great and the lens work very well unlike some other models.

Seems to work fine and for the price it is hard to beat. Haven't used it for any complex games, just simple viewing and basic games at this point. Seems like it should last a decent while, for the price it is great.

The headset does not have a way to select on it leaving you having to use the controller included to make selections but even the included controller doesn't work well. I ended up returning this item to get a better one

I purchased the Utopia 360 to view virtual reality images and videos of projects that we design. It works well for basic viewing. I didn't realize before buying that to use other software etc. you will need to interact with the phone. I can;t get the phone (Iphone6S) to react to button presses on the unit and the blue tooth remote doesn't seem to have any identifieable function in the viewer apps. It may serve a purpose if using the headset for games. One suggested improvement would be to accept deeper phones or phones in cases. It's a pain to have to remove the case whenever I want to insert the phone.

Controller doesn't work and the headset only supports small phones. Probably will get you enough enertainment for a couple of hours so in that case it's worth it.

Bought this on sale and for the price it's good. The controller is a huge disappointed. Some of the buttons work for volume for android and others don't do anything. I'll try and find a way to possibly configure the buttons. It's comfortable to wear, however the nose cutout for me is too big, which lets in some light. Also this did not fit my glasses. There is an action button that works fine. Lots of apps on cardboard and playstore to explore. Youtube 360 videos are great. The lens are clear. Some others things to note: fov is 102 degrees as per manufacturer, 1 year warranty included, there is a version without controller, the phone holder is kind of flimsy, however holds my 5.2 moto x well, This vr headset is good enough for now until I save up for higher end one.
