However, negative feedback frequently cites issues with phone compatibility and controller functionality, with some users also reporting problems with the remote and headset fit. Many found the VR experience enjoyable for the price. The headset's compatibility with various phone models appears to be a significant concern.

Wow, this is super addicting! Anyone who's tried out a VR headset knows what I'm talking about. I also have a set of LG Tone Bluetooth earbuds for audio. Overall, this VR headset is worth the $40 I paid - it also came with a Bluetooth remote. The effectiveness of the remote depends on the formatting of VR apps and games out there. For example, I can play/pause on VR YouTube videos but navigating to the next video or back out to search results doesn't work. Not a big deal, honestly. The VR headset is pretty comfortable but weighs down on the nose after 20 - 30 mins. I recommend taking breaks. I love being able to adjust the eyepieces to correct distance for my eyes. This is a very helpful feature as different videos and apps require minor adjustments of the eyepieces to get the right focus and resolution.
I use an LG G4 with this headset and it fits fine. Only wish the clamp holding the phone felt more secure when I put it in there, but not a huge deal. For $40 I am very happy with this product.

I had to return this item as my phone had massive drifting issues. I read online that any phones other than the ones designed for VR will have drifting issues. There are correction apps in the store but none of them are free. Also a note to Note 4 customers, it is a struggle to get this in. It's correct size but the volume switches and power switch are in the way.

This device is great for first time users. Fits well and very easy to use. I have not used the Bluetooth controller so I can’t comment on that. But everything else seems to be in working condition especially for the price when on sale. Great deal!

This VR headset is pretty much the same as most others, although I find this one more comfortable than VRBox. The QR code worked well for setting up Google Cardboard. But my complaint is that my Galaxy Note 9 has to be removed from my OtterBox Defender case to fit in the headset. It's a showstopper for me.

Bought 2 of these on Black Friday so had to try one out. My iPhone 6 fits well without a case, there are many apps to choose from. For $20 it works well but I'm worried my 13 y/o nephew will break the plastic easily and I still can't figure out how to use the Bluetooth controller.

We bought the Utopia 360 VR set as a Christmas gift for our 15 year old granddaughter. She is absolutely thrilled with it. She says it is fantastic. We bought it at a very good price at Best Buy. Really glad we bought it and would highly recommend it.

A functional VR unit for Android phones.

This VR unit comes with a remote which is nice. However, it does seem to only function properly with Android phones. I have a Note 5 and iPhone 6S+. They both fit snuggly inside the unit, but the distance of the screen from my eyes seems a little off. All around it succeeds in delivering the gimmick of VR in an affordable option.

Does meet the minimum requirements

If you want a minimum requirement of watching VR videos, games and do not worry about compatibility with wide variety of applications, this will be a good starting thing to buy for $20. Sliding the phone inside to keep in position is little difficult and requires both hands and needs patience. Otherwise the little plastic hook may break.
