What can I say? Adds some nice flair and tech to older cars without all the tech. And Rexing has been around forever. They are always creating new products and innovating. Quality stuff.

I connected it right out of the box, and it started recording. All I did was insert the micro SD card. I like the idea of having the recorder and map in one device. This is a great addition to any car that doesn't have a built-in camera or a map.

Everything seems to be of good quality the video quality is very good but I ran into problems trying to hardwire the car rather than use the including DC adapter because my car uses the low profile fuses and this kit only includes the mini fuses. But other than that, it's a good bargain for carplay and android auto and was mostly easy to pair alrhough I'm still learning

I have used a few rexing products and they are good quality and easy to use. The connection for android auto is quick and smooth. It has given my old car new life. Installation is easy and setup smooth and quick. I highly recommend if you have an older car and aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg.

Setup: It comes with a micro sd card. And you don't need a computer to format it because it can format it for you on the camera device. Interface: The interface took a minute to get used to, but now I can navigate between music, gps, and the camera settings easily. Music/Audio: My 2005 Camry has no aux port. This device mitigates that by having both connect to the same radio frequency, which is very convenient. Camera: Both the front and rear camera give nicely wide angles. The one thing I would want is for the camera in the front to be more flexible with angle adjustment (angle feels a bit off centered). But this is a very minor thing since it still covers what matters the most, which is the everything that's in front of you. Overall this camera helps give features that newer cars have and would recommend it for anyone who wants very convenient multi functionality in one device!

I am satisfied with this dash cam. It performs well as both a dash cam and for CarPlay. The video quality is excellent. My only suggestion would be for the seller to provide a detailed video guide for installing the hardware kit, which would make setup easier. Overall, this is a reliable and well-designed device, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This camera is tailored more towards older vehicles without having to buy 2 separate things. You can get a dash cam and you can upgrade your stereo orrrrr you can get this and have it do both. Yes I know for audiophiles, this probably isn’t for them but for those who want CarPlay/Android Auto, this is it. Broadcast it thru your aux input, Bluetooth, or transmitter. We have a few older models and this solved that issue. The video quality is nice and clear and the wiring is very simple. We have quite a few cameras from Rexing and they’re easy to use. Simple interface, connects to the app on your phone if you need to access footage. Would recommend.

Very easy to set up with no hassle with easy mounting accessories. This is the best resolution camera in dash cam. The videos are super clear. Secondary camera is also super clear videos. Its a game changer for my work truck. No more separate dash cam and carplay needed.

It works as advertised, and the included 64gb micro sd is a good value add, but you can get very similar devices on amazon for a fraction that this device costs. I would recommend scheduling a geek squad installation as figuring out what fuses to supplant can be a bit tricky, due to the instructions not being detailed enough for my liking. If your car gets hot sitting out in the sun, the mount will NOT hold. The base they provide is made of silicone, a naturally nonstick material, and when things get hot the display will slowly fall forward, detatch from the ashesive pad, and fall due to its weight. Debating on returning this simply due to the cost comparison to similar devices on amazon.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad the device works as advertised and that you found the included microSD card valuable. We appreciate your input regarding the mount and instructions.

Overall, this is a good dash cam with excellent camera quality. The 4K front and 1080p rear recording deliver clear and sharp footage, and the integration with CarPlay and Android Auto works smoothly. GPS and parking mode are useful features and perform as expected. Points to consider before purchase: The sticker quality on the device is not very good. I purchased mine from the outside market, so this may vary by seller. The rear camera cable length is short and not sufficient for some cars. I had to purchase a longer cable separately.

Honestly been liking this Rexing dash cam a lot. Video quality is clean and clear, CarPlay works smooth, and having everything in one device keeps the setup simple with less clutter. Parking mode and GPS are a nice bonus too. Setup was easy overall and it’s been working great so far. Solid buy overall.

After installing the Rexing CPDuo-9 dash cam, I immediately noticed how sharp and vivid the 9-inch HD touchscreen looked—navigating menus and maps was effortless. The integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto was seamless, letting me access apps and navigation with just a tap or voice command; it genuinely made hands-free communication much easier. The 4K front camera and 1080p rear camera captured everything on the road with impressive clarity, so I felt secure knowing both angles were covered and blind spots were minimized. The reverse park assist turned out to be a huge help in tight parking situations—with the backup camera activating automatically, I stopped worrying about hidden obstacles. Setting up Wi-Fi and Bluetooth was straightforward, and having GPS navigation built-in meant I never had to juggle separate devices. I appreciated the generous storage (mine takes up to 256GB), giving peace of mind that important videos wouldn’t get overwritten. Overall, the easy installation, premium audio integration, and intuitive controls made this dash cam a fantastic upgrade—combining safety, convenience, and entertainment into one package.

One of the most solid dash cams I've had. This one is extremely helpful on my older car since it brings some new age life into it! The ability to connect my phone, use navigation and all on top of recording as a dashcam really does help to keep my eyes on the road. I've been a solid supporter of Rexing, we have them in all of our vehicles and they have always stuck by their warranty and their customer support is top tier. I'd recommend them highly.

This dash cam is mainly a smart upgrade for older cars. It adds CarPlay and Android Auto without needing to replace your entire head unit, which makes the car feel a lot more modern. The display isn’t really meant to act like a standalone GPS system, it’s more of a screen that mirrors your phone, so you’re mainly using apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps rather than relying on the unit itself. The large screen and video quality are the biggest highlights. The display makes navigation, music, and apps much easier to see and use, and the 4K front camera is sharp enough to capture clear details like license plates, even in low light. The rear camera adds extra coverage, and having everything accessible on one screen makes it feel more like a built-in system rather than just a dash cam. There are some trade-offs. The screen size can block part of your view if it’s not mounted carefully, and installation can be a bit tricky, especially when routing multiple cables. Overall, I’d describe it as a feature-packed, high-value device that combines a dash cam with a phone-powered display. It’s not trying to replace a Garmin or a factory system—it’s more of a middle ground that works really well once everything is set up properly.

It's an amazing device that combines CarPlay, a backup camera, and front and rear dashcams into one. Great idea and very practical, I personally have it in my 2006 Toyota Sienna, this is a must-have for older cars that lack all of these three elements.

I am enjoying this dash camera so far. Apple CarPlay functionality is responsive, and video clarity is great. Rexing includes some nice touches that their competition often requires to be purchased separately, such as a hardwire kit and a microSD card. I have not used the hardwire kit yet, but the microSD card functions as expected and was easy to format after initially starting up the dash camera. Installation is simplified by the forward-facing camera being built into the screen. With previous dash cameras that I have installed, the camera was required to be mounted to the windshield and the power cable routed behind the dash and A-pillar trim. With a separate screen to install on the dash, having a standalone front facing camera would add an extra step. It is convenient to have that extra step eliminated with the CPDuo-9. Since the direction that the camera points is adjustable, there really is no downside to this consolidated setup. Regardless, Rexing makes routing cables straightforward by including a trim tool with the camera, so it was easy to route the cable for the rear-facing camera to the back of my car and mount the rear-facing camera in my rear window.

The Rexing CPDuo-9 provides an effective solution for vehicles lacking built-in backup camera or CarPlay functionality. The 9-inch LCD display offers clear visibility and an appropriate form factor for vehicles with sufficient mounting space. Integration of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto significantly enhances usability, allowing seamless smartphone connectivity for navigation, communication, and media control. The system includes all required components for hardwired installation, supporting a clean and professional setup. The included 64GB SD card ensures reliable local video storage without the need for immediate upgrades. Overall, the CPDuo-9 is a well-designed, feature-rich system that adds modern capability and safety enhancements to any vehicle.

I love this brand dashcam and have Rexing V1s in my family's 5 vehicles. I needed to ugrade to something with wireless Android Auto because my car has wired access only. Everything works great, but the screen is just a little big on the dash. So, I am instead using ot in my Silverado, which has plenty of room. It's great, but just be aware that it it very large, which is definitly an advantage if it isn't too big for your vehicle's dashboard.

Installed on our golf cart. Larger screen and back up camera are great out on the town. Rexing has exceeded my expectations.

I have had and currently have Rexing dash cams in all of my vehicles (4) and I love them. They have been dependable and have great features. This one especially I like as I installed in a 2004 Dodge Neon SRT4 project car, that doesn't have all those bells and whistles. The only critique I have with all Rexing cams is the wifi interface with the app. It can be sluggish but it still works. The alternative is to simply remove the memory card and transfer and videos or pics to your PC for storage.
