I am a professional truck driver and owner-operator, and I required a multifunctional dash camera capable of reliable performance in both daytime and nighttime conditions, as well as in extreme cold and heat. I already use Rexing dash cameras in both of my personal vehicles, and they have helped protect me on multiple occasions from accident-related scams. In addition to my confidence in the brand and its outstanding customer support, I appreciate that this model truly includes all essential features. These include 360-degree motion detection and four-channel recording, which ensures complete vehicle coverage. Although I could not mount the rear camera in the traditional exterior position, I was able to install it inside the cabin. As a result, my insurance company provided a safety discount—a win-win situation. The video quality is solid, featuring 1080p HD resolution with reliable nighttime performance. I can clearly read license plates of passing vehicles during night drives. I also find the mobile app very convenient. It allows me to connect easily and view footage without removing the memory card. While I hope I never need to use the footage after an accident, it is reassuring to know that I can share recordings with law enforcement within seconds if necessary. The app is free of charge, and app installation was straightforward. The unit itself is slightly larger compared to the dash cameras in my personal vehicles, but I was able to mount it neatly behind the rearview mirror, where it remains unobtrusive. Overall, this was an excellent purchase, and I am very satisfied with its performance.

This is installed on a SUV. It is bigger than my other dash cam because it has 4 channel recording and a wide angle, very helpful on a bigger car! It records clearly night and day and has sensors and GPS. A great product from Rexing.

This is the most advanced dash cam I’ve ever had and I love it . I can see everything from my iPhone. I don’t have to be near my car . All videos are saved to my Rex Dash cam .

I just upgraded to the Rexing R4-RD mainly for the 360 degree parking monitor with motion sensing capability. I’ve had many Rexing dash cams in the past and they have never disappointed. They are extremely reliable and have never had a problem with any of them. They are super easy to install, with everything already included to be able to use right out of the box. It even comes with a micro sd card which is necessary to store all the video it constantly takes. The R4-RD also comes with an obd adapter that just plugs right in so no need to tap into any wires or the fuse box to power it. It also has a voltage monitor so just in case your car battery is running low, it will automatically cut power to the dash cam so you don’t have a dead car battery. The quality of the 1080P recording is superb, even showing sharp details at night. My favorite feature by far is the parking monitor that will record 360 degrees, front, rear and both sides of your car. It will automatically start recording if there is an impact or when it senses motion nearby. You can even adjust the cameras so you can get the best camera angle, not missing a single area of your car. This gives me the peace of mind that if something were to happen while parked, I would have it recorded and documented. I’ve used the R4-RD now for almost a month and I am seriously blown away by this awesome little powerhouse of a dash cam. If you’re looking for a high quality dash cam packed with features and easy to use, look no further. This is the one!

This is very advance camera with all around vision and high end picture quality. I was looking for something like this to install in my brand new Lexus TX-350 and happy with the purchase as easy installation and friendly app to access all the videos.

This dashcam is very good to capture all four sides, means 360 surround view. Picture quality is good. Only one thing I hate is that it does not come with memory card, you have to purchase it separately.

I had a 3 channel dash cam that has blind spot, I like this 4 channels better because it covers all 360 angles, the key difference is it covers if some drivers do something next to you, the 3 channels wouldn’t cover that angle. It has gps function if you want to turn it on. The WiFi connection works well, transmitting speed is fast enough to watch video footage thru the app on your phone, makes it pretty convenient at the scene to show police what happened.

I’ve been using the Rexing R4-RD for a few weeks now and overall I’m pretty satisfied with it. The biggest reason I chose this one was the full 360-degree coverage with four cameras. It records front, rear, and both sides, which gives a lot more confidence compared to basic single-camera setups. Installation took some time because of the extra cameras and wiring, but once it was set up, it worked reliably. Video quality is clear enough to read plates during the day, and night recording has been decent so far. I also like having GPS built in so speed and location are saved with the footage. The parking monitor feature is another plus, especially when the vehicle is left outside. The Wi-Fi app works well for reviewing clips without removing the card, although it can take a minute to transfer larger files. Overall, if you want full coverage around your vehicle instead of just front and rear, this is a solid option. It’s not the simplest system to install, but once it’s in place, it gives good peace of mind.

This is a very user friendly dashcam. Easy installation for first time user. It is a high end quality for this price. I will buy one more for my second car.

I purchased 2 Rexing R4-RD Dash cams after one of my vehicles was involved in a hit-and-run, and had them installed a few days ago. Despite one camera failing to record after the SD card was inserted, both cameras are working fine. The video is clear, and the app is easy enough to use. I wish live feed or an alert system were included for the price, however, they still get the job done.

This is the second Rexing Dash Cam I've purchased. I liked the R4 that got for my daughter's car so I got this for my son's Honda Accord Hybrid. I am quite happy with both units. The setup is nice with the 4 cameras and motion sensor. I specifically wanted the parking monitor due to my son living in an apartment off campus and younger drivers getting into scrapes in the parking garage. Great Quality and Durability, saved me and others on car crashes, with no blind spots

The cameras themselves are very clear and do a great job. I love the movable side cameras that can record outside or inside the car. Note, the sides are black and white recording when it is dark. I had to order a separate hardwire kit and quality SD card, so plan for another $100. I don't love the app. This is where they could really improve. Having to connect to the camera via its wifi is super annoying. My home wifi takes over and bumps me off, so I have to forget my home network to stay connected long enough or simply not be at home. So, if you have a network your device auto connects to, this can be frustrating. It would be cool if it could connect to other wifi in addition to having its own. That way I could sit in my house on my little laptop and do the things vs phone scrolling in my car. It also does this crazy thing where it thinks I am hacking my camera and locks me out simply by logging in. Because I only need to access the camera in rare "event" issues, the annoying app is fine. I'd choose this camera again. Best Buy did the install, so I can't speak to that, but I HIGHLY recommend you let Best Buy do it. They did a great job!

I recently picked up the Rexing R4 RD Dash Cam and I’m really impressed! The video quality is solid and clear, so I feel confident I’ll catch anything that happens on the road. One of the best features is the 360 parking monitor which keeps an eye on my car when it’s parked just in case someone bumps into it. The GPS tracking is nice for keeping tabs on my routes and speed and the app control is super easy to use on my phone. It was also pretty simple to install and doesn’t stick out too much which is a plus. Overall, it’s a great dash cam for the price and gives me peace of mind while driving and parked.
