Best dashcam nice and work properly easy to install proper image easy to connect with phone

I’m really impressed with this dash cam. It actually covers all 4 sides (front, rear, and sides/cabin), which gives me huge peace of mind when driving. The built-in 360° motion parking monitor is awesome—it senses movement around the car and records automatically when parked, which makes me feel so much safer. Plus, it's a complete package since it includes a 64GB memory card and the smart hardwire kit right in the box. You don't have to spend extra money or time buying accessories. It's super user-friendly and works exactly as advertised!

I just upgraded from a single front view Rexing dash cam that I have had for many years of flawless service, to the R4-RD. Installation and operation is simple and straight forward. The wiring is sturdy and has plenty of length to get to where it is needed along the interior vehicle trim. The 4-channel view and recording is in high resolution and is a fabulous upgrade. The lcd screen is a very nice size and most importantly it doesn’t block my vision of the road when placed appropriately behind the rear view mirror. The night vision quality is like that found in high-end security cameras. With all of the unpredictable things that can happen on the road, I use mine as additional insurance should an incident happen. I can’t recommend this Rexing dash cam highly enough. I’ll also be passing my previous single view cam on to a family member as I’m sure it has many years of useful life remaining.

I purchased the Rexing R4-RD 4-channel dash cam on February 10, 2026 mainly because it would monitor completely around your vehicle while parked Channels equate to cameras and this is a 4 channel (camera) system. The only other item you need to use for this camera is a MicroSD Card. I use a 250 GB microSD card. The unit has its main camera (stationary) that looks forward. The remaining two cameras on the unit are on either side and can rotate 180 degrees from front, to side, to rear. The fourth camera (separate) has a long wire and is to be mounted inside the vehicle on your rear windshield pointing directly behind you. Running the wire behind the interior plastic trim to the main unit in the front is probably the hardest part on the installation of this camera. I installed it in a 2021 GMC Yukon XL in about an hour and fifteen minutes. New for me, the power can now be connected to the OBD connection usually found under the steering wheel (newer vehicles). This connection is the On-Board Diagnostic connection that service mechanics use to hook up their electronic diagnostic scan tool. From this connection the camera gets its constant power and “on” signal when the vehicle has started. There is a GPS connection that has short wire to a little pad that you mount on your windshield. You can access the camera via your phone using wifi but I rarely use this if at all. To view the loop videos I remove the microSD card from the unit and place it in a USB reader to insert to my laptop or desktop PC. Here you can view all videos. The videos are very clear and with sound (if you want them). I set my loops to one minute recording. So each loop for all cameras is a minute. The four channels from four different cameras are placed into four separate file folders on the MicroSD within the “video” folder; “Front, Left, Rear, Right”. On the bottom right, in nice white blocky letters, displays the current Latitude and Longitude, MPH, Date, Day of Week, and time. All cameras record in 1080p so they are extremely clear. For me, the parking monitor was set on low sensitivity so it seemed to record more than what is needed and probably too sensitive. I will try it on all settings later to see what works best for me. Overall a dash cam that has everything you need. For those who really need to record what goes on in the cabin, this camera would work very well. Rexing continues to add and improve their products which is a good sign that they are keeping up with the technology.

Product arrived pretty quickly. The dashcam seem pretty solid and has good picture quality. The only thing is that it does seem a little heavy so hopefully it will not fall off from the window later. A little on the pricier side but seems to be good quality

I wanted to share my thoughts on the dash cam. It is an excellent choice if you are looking for 360-degree views and consistent monitoring. The daylight 2K image quality is great, though the highlights are slightly overexposed—likely to allow for better sensitivity and performance at night. I also appreciate the parking monitor feature, which provides great peace of mind. While it is an expensive unit and the wiring for the rear camera and GPS antenna takes some time to install, it is well worth the investment if you value comprehensive 360-degree coverage.

I am a professional truck driver and owner-operator, and I required a multifunctional dash camera capable of reliable performance in both daytime and nighttime conditions, as well as in extreme cold and heat. In addition to my confidence in the brand and its outstanding customer support, I appreciate that this model truly includes all essential features. These include 360-degree motion detection and four-channel recording, which ensures complete vehicle coverage. Although I could not mount the rear camera in the traditional exterior position, I was able to install it inside the cabin. As a result, my insurance company provided a safety discount—a win-win situation. The video quality is solid, featuring 1080p HD resolution with reliable nighttime performance. I can clearly read license plates of passing vehicles during night drives. I also find the mobile app very convenient. It allows me to connect easily and view footage without removing the memory card. While I hope I never need to use the footage after an accident, it is reassuring to know that I can share recordings with law enforcement within seconds if necessary. The app is free of charge, and app installation was straightforward. The unit itself is slightly larger compared to the dash cameras in my personal vehicles, but I was able to mount it neatly behind the rearview mirror, where it remains unobtrusive. Overall, this was an excellent purchase, and I am very satisfied with its performance.

I have had Rexing dash cameras before and they have always been reliable and produced high quality recordings (one has been in service for seven years). Although I recently purchased the R4-RD, I anticipate that it will be just as reliable. So far, I am enjoying the high quality recordings. The best feature is the 360 degree recording capability. Many dash cams have a parking monitor but are only front facing, or possibly front and rear facing. Those do nothing for some incidents that could occur when parked, such as someone running into the side of your car, or even while moving, such as a t-bone collision. The 360 degree functionality provides a complete view of the driving or parking setting. Installation in my car was straightforward. A nice aspect of the newer Rexing products is that the microSD card is included, eliminating the need to purchase one separately. I am a satisfied Rexing customer.

Great dashcam if you want four-way coverage. It records front, rear, and sides in 1080p, so you have more peace of mind than just a front/rear dashcam. Setup can take some time if you're hard wiring and hiding the wires, but once it’s set up, it's very hands off. The app functionality has improved dramatically also.

I purchased this camera mainly to use as a dash cam with the three front-facing cameras, and so far it has worked well for that purpose. I did not install the rear camera, so I can’t comment on that part, but the front coverage alone was the main reason I chose this model. Installation took some time, but once mounted, the main unit feels solid and stays in place. The three front cameras give noticeably better coverage than a standard single camera. It captures the road ahead and also covers the sides of the vehicle, which gives extra confidence in case something happens from an angle. Video quality during the day is clear enough to read license plates at reasonable distances, and night footage is acceptable, though like most 1080p cameras, small details can be harder to read in very low light. The GPS feature is useful, especially when reviewing footage, since it records speed and location along with the video. I also like the parking mode feature. It gives some peace of mind when the vehicle is parked, especially in public areas. The app connection works, though downloading footage over Wi-Fi can be a bit slow. Overall, I bought this primarily for reliable front-side coverage rather than full 360 use, and for that purpose it performs well. If someone wants more coverage than a typical single-camera dash cam, this is a solid option.

The BBY-R4-RD dash cam delivers excellent all-around coverage with clear front, rear, and interior video, day or night. Installation was easy, and the wide-angle lenses capture everything around the vehicle. The built-in radar is a standout — helpful for parking and detecting nearby movement without false alerts. Reliable recording, parking mode, and simple app access make this a solid, worry-free upgrade for safety and security. Highly recommended.

I’ve become very familiar with Rexing products over the last five years or so.. and I’ve had several of their dashcams, as well as other products.. all have done the job expected of them.. I think what sets the R4-RD apart from the others is the built in OBD hardwire kit and the gps/ wifi.. earlier versions didn’t have these features as stock.. so, I really like the new R4-RD .. it does exactly what is expected of it, which in turn makes me feel secured..

Straight forward to install. The video is good quality and it offers video from all sides. It’s a little large but worth it for the coverage it offers.

Fantastic camera! Super easy to install. No extra fiddling with slots in the fuse box for parking monitoring. It has already helped me in a tough situation where I needed video evidence. It is big and bulky, but that also makes it easy to see for would be thieves.

It took me about 30 mins to install, the camera running the cables to the old, gps on dash, and rear facing camera. The thing works great, love the different side angles and the power source being the obd, highly recommend it.

And other good Rexing product, is my 3st dashcam, good quality and easy installation. Cover every angle.

Very impressive Dashcam. Records 1080 p video of the sides, front and back. Has good features including motion sensor, gravity sensor which can be used for continuous parking monitor. Supports upto 256 gb Microsd card. Installation was done by GeekSquad which was smooth and professional. The video recording is continuous and overwrites. Rexing connect app also is useful to log in through the phone and see the video recording. Overall would recommend this product.
