This is my first rexing product and I have to say I’m not disappointed. The front and rear camera quality is very clear day and night. Very easy to navigate through the menu. The price is great for the quality of the product(got it on sale for $150) and had it professionally installed by Best Buy so can’t talk about how easy or difficult it is to install. Overall great product for the peace of mind on the road.

I've had this for a while and never needed to see anything until now. Although this works well, it doesn't seem to record license plates very good. Seems like fast movement and night time are problems for the camera. I try to get the footage of a reckless driver and it's just a blur. You have to be following them really close to see a plate or be at a stop with no movement. Like I said I never needed to see anything before now, but I did go through and watch all the video that was recorded on the flash card. Its perfect when everything is sitting still or even moving along really slow like in traffic. But once you get going, it's another story. Disappointing even when the video is at 2160p. This is my only dash cam that I have, but I will look around to see if there is something better that will actually work when you need it.

Seems to be a very high quality dash cam, I like the ability to have front and back cameras, the Rexing V1P Pro Plus I ordered from Best Buy came with the Smart Wire kit, very easy to install and records if someone hits you in a parking lot and leaves, many great options from recording to your iPhone, to downloading to your computer.

This camera has excellent picture quality. The service is more than great. I changed my car and couldn’t get off the mount but they sent me a new one including a new back camera, mount and cable. FOR FREE! The use is easy after installed. The software is great for PC and mac. You literally see where you were, when, and you see who’s coming from behind and where it’s going. Insanely good picture quality. I feel so much safer. If you plug it into your computer, it will be recognized as a camera and you’ll see the files in 3 min clips named with date and time A and B for front and back. Super convenient! Do not rename your files!! It also helps to correct your own behavior! Very good investment!!

I bought the Rexing V1P Pro to have the piece of mind while operating our vehicle on the streets of San Diego County. Crazy drivers who don't follow common sense rules drive me nuts so they, the crazy drivers have pushed me to have the video proof captured by the front and rear cameras. Installation was easy after watch a few youtube's. I bought a 128GB memory card but now I think that unless you're driving long distances, the 32GB card provided would be enough because it just over rights the images. I installed the hardwire kit provided and now the installation is 100% clean and complete and camera is 100% operable while driving or in parking mode.

Nice dash cam vary easy to use I love the Wi-Fi option because it allows quick access to showing what happened at a accident scene. Nice video quality for the front and back.

We bought this for our trip to Florida because there are soooo many wonderful, courteous drivers between here and there. It was the only one that our local Best Buy had in stock that came with the rear camera as well, so we bought it. Pretty decent price. We almost go hit a couple of times and the camera picked it up. Only issue (and not really an issue), but we bought a larger SD card than came with system and I highly recommend one for long trips or you will have go in a delete some footage after a while.

Overall this is a great camera. I feel more secure now having a camera that has front and back recording. The front camera has clear video even at night. The video quality for the back is decent during the day even though I have limo tint in my back window.. At night it’s harder to make out because of the headlights and limo tint. Love the gps that tracks my speed and has the optional to leave time stamps. Only reason I didn’t give this camera 5 stars is because of the phone app/WiFi function. Downloading a file from the camera to my phone takes more then 5 minutes for a 3 minute clip. The app is always crashing too

Rexing - V1P Pro Plus.... This is by far the best Dash-Cam that I had. Best Buy installed it... The only thing that I had to get corrected is the time... You'll have to set the area that you are in (Time Zone) also, ensure you have on Day-Light-Saving Time... If not, you'll be running on the pre-set time every time you start you car. But, other than that... the videos look really good. Day or night time clean and easy to see.

My first dash cam and after only a few days of use, I am very impressed! Installation was pretty easy and I was able to neatly hide the wires for a clean look. Rexing provided a hardwire kit, power connector, trim tool, 3m windshield mounts, a usb cord to connect to my computer and even a Kingston 32gb micro sd card. Many features onboard and I will recommend this one to family and friends!

I purchased the V1P Pro Dash Cam from Best Buy on 11-21-2019. The dash cam hardware was easy to install. I installed a 256 GB sd card to have plenty of memory which I also purchased from Best Buy. I was able to configure the desired features/functions via the dash cam setup menus. I downloaded the GPS software/manual from the Rexing website. The front/rear cameras take great videos during the day in various weather conditions, but at night the videos are not as clear which is to be expected. The rear camera should come with a mounting bracket so it can be easily removed without messing with the adhesive tape. The GPS software loaded with no problems, but when loading a video it plays for a few seconds then the program closes - had to load a video - pause it - slide the progress bar as a work around - wish it worked properly - looks like a nice program - my other programs on my computer which access videos function with no concerns. I downloaded the Rexing Connect App which functions with no problems and makes it easier to access the dash cam then pressing the various key combinations on the dash cam. When viewing videos on my computer it will only read the files when placing the sd card in the computer, when trying via the USB cable the dash cam will not read the files - cannot get past the Mass Storage display on the dash cam. Overall I am currently satisfied with the V1P Pro.

Apparently you can't be connected to the camera & Pandora at the she time. That has been the only issue so far. Love that it came ready for Best Buy to install fire me. Front & rear cameras. Great investment!

After doing a lot of research, I narrowed my search to Rexing. The previous dashcam was faithful and served us well, but we needed additional features, like parking mode and dual channel. It's almost impossible to get any information on this V1P Pro Plus Best Buy exclusive model...you're stuck comparing to V1P Pro. I mention this because the firmware version isn't the same when you try and download it from the Rexing site. You have to contact them directly instead of using the auto-pre-filled options in support. Pros: Easy setup, intuitive menu, and the Rexing Connect app. The app really is slick and relatively quick. I like that I can delete videos using it. Cons: Rexing Connect App - I haven't figured out a way to delete protected videos...<imagine a sad and disappointed emoji here>. Overall, this dashcam is a big step up from what we had and after a week of using it, are very happy with the quality and access to the videos. The process to purchase and install at Best Buy made everything so simple. The installers did a great job. If you do have them install, write down or take picture of the serial number from the device first, so you can register the product. The S/N is not on the packaging.

I've tried many different dash cams. This one is the best used to date by far. Rear camera and small footprint that is not hanging in my view are excellent features. The system works great. Automatically updates to correct time and date as well as track via GPS. Business requires travel in larger cities. Good to have evidence in the event of an accident.

So far so good! The dash camera is easy to use and set up. It can record in 1080, 2k, and 4k. One major plus is this bundle comes with the hardwire kit as compared to it’s competitors. I highly recommend getting this dash cam. My only gripe is the subpar iPhone app. It takes significantly longer (a few minutes) to connect via my iPhone wifi compared to my other devices. When Rexing updates the app I’ll update my review to 5 stars.

So far so good. This is our second one but a different brand. Got this one because the other was discontinued. A bit difficult to set up but seems to work fine.

I am extremely unhappy with this Dashcam. Picture is good; front and back cameras together are good. Phone app is horrible. Phone often does not link with dashcam. When it does and you download the video or picture you want to your phone, you can't do anything with it. No way to download it to your computer without removing the memory card from your camera (not an easy process). You can send your video to Rexing and your phone automatically downloads videos from other Rexing users???? I would never have purchased this made in China unit if I would have known how hard it would be to get my video. ALSO, NO LIVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Buy at your own risk. A difficult to use system with no way to get help. Best buy did a good job of installation, but I am very sorry I bought this unit.

I enjoy all the simple to use features of this camera. The clarity is good for the price and does everything I need it to do.

So far I love this camera, it's easy to set up, and you can use a larger SD card. The true test will be the summer heat in my vehicle. It's a little expensive but sometimes you have to pay for quality.
