Finally found the DVD that I was looking for.

I photographed Mr. Pryor in 1976 in Washington, D.C. and followed his triumphs and disappointments from that time forward. When he did this NBC program, I knew it would not last very long, but I also knew that this one season of footage, would be groundbreaking history in later years and it was.

This set is a good value. The content is entertaining and a flashback to earlier Richard Pryor. Before watching this I had never seen some of it. Star Wars Bar is absolutely hilarious.
