    This was the third addition to our system and we recommend them to everyone. We plugged it in and it synced right up. Only occasionally do we have to unplug it and reconnect, but like most tech products, a reset is required.

    This keypad left a lot to be desired. Bulky, clunky, not the best responsiveness. These issues seem to have all been addressed in the 2nd Gen keypad, which is definitely worth the difference in cost.
