[Employee of bestbuy] I have a room with the perfect window that faces out. This has proven invaluable as a person with 3 dogs -one who doesn't like guests- and a busy household with people in and out of the backyard regularly. One quick glance at the camera to make sure no vehicles are in the driveway and the dogs are free to go wild in the yard! If you need something simple that doesn't require a speaker and doesn't require any technical skills, I highly recommend this. It makes me feel safer when my husband is traveling and helps me know I can keep backyard guests safe from my crazy dogs!

Had this camera up a few months. Have it outside a few feet away of my house overlooking my driveway. Let me just say with the 24/7 recording and the 4K video. This is definitely upgrade over the other spotlight camera pros. Very easy to install just like all the other spotlight cameras, and all of other rings other cameras. The 4K camera is an absolute upgrade from every other camera that ring has put out very clear during the day, very clear at night, and very clear in the dark with no lighting.

I have an older Ring Video doorbell. This camera has much better night vision. During the day there is not much difference between the two but at night this is dramatically better.

Bought this for the driveway. Works great. Love the long cord to be able to plug in a good distance away. Very easy install.

Ring- Outdoor Cam works excellent. Connected to backyard and lights the entire area. Would definitely recommend

Bought this to have a camera pointed in my backyard where i had a blindspot at. Love the 4k quality as it is night and day to my other ring cameras i have on my property. My only complaint is that i didnt buy the spotlight version of this camera at the time.

The difference between the 4K Ring cameras and the older non-4K models is night and day. The biggest game changer is the ability to zoom in and still maintain real detail. With my older cameras, once you pinched to zoom, everything turned into a blurry mess. With 4K, you can actually read details, see faces clearly, and identify vehicles without losing clarity.

I got this to replace a ring camera that I've been using for the last 8 years (which still works), and it is well worth the investment! The video quality is great, even when zoomed in. This camera records 24/7 and doesn't bother me with constant nuisance notifications like the old one did (such as headlights going by from the road).

Nice addition and upgrade to our Ring system. This new camera gives better resolution and a wider view. Do note the plug is different from the older generation. So you will have to replace with the included wiring. Setup was faster than the previous ones.

I am happily surprised of the clarity in this camera. It provides distance view quite well.

The product does its job. Capturing video. When motion is detected. The wire is kinda annoying. But i wanted a 4K camera to get better picture quality. The 4K is basically the same as 2K. And would have preferred a battery camera instead of the wire. They dont carry 4K in battery, yet. But it works the same as 2K. So no need.

This camera works very well! I have owned various Ring cameras through the years but this camera by far has been the the best.

I thought getting the 4K would be better than the 2K camera. To me its basically the same. The 4K is a little more pricey for the same job as 2K. Would had got this product if they had it in battery instead of plug in wire. It does the job. Price of peace in mind.

Love this camera. Great pictures even though it doesn't have a light. Like that too, it doesn't shine in my windows at night lighting up my dark room. Super easy to put up, connect to my wifi and complete the set up.
