I like this one as it is cost effective and i didnt have to run wires for the solar panel. Also connects the the ring app and notifies of motion, just you cannot see that because there is no camera

I had initially purchased a battery powered floodlight and I have to say avoid that because constantly replacing the batteries is annoying. But, this solar unit is perfect because you can add a second rechargeable battery to it. I like that I can place these lights far away on the edge of my property and it communicates really good with my Ring system.

Even though it doesn't have a camera it dies notify you through your phone. Also it's really easy to add it to you network of ring doorbell and other security lights - as long as you have the bridge, which is worth having.

A lot of car theft and burglaries in our area so it’s good to have something like this to capture anything like that. It’s super bright and it covers a huge area. Okay price and easy to install.

The Ring Smart Lighting Solar Floodlight is an ultra-bright motion-sensing smart dual-head floodlight that illuminates large areas with powerful adjustable lights. The Ring Solar Floodlight uses the Ring rechargeable battery pack (1 included, can hold 2). We recommend placing the solar panel in direct sunlight to recharge and store power for your device. If the battery is draining faster than the solar panel can recharge, your batteries can be recharged with the included orange micro-USB. Visit our support center for more information.

Ring outdoor security products are water-resistant and designed to withstand normal rainfall and snow. Ring products are not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or sprayed with high pressure water. If you can, it is recommended to keep your Ring device under a protective overhang such as a hanging roof.

May take a little time to calibrate motion settings. Be nice if they included mounting clips for the solar panel cord. Not a deal breaker.

I own a lot of Ring products and this one delivers as usual. Also, Rings customer service is great. The protect program is also very worth it.

The sensor has a nice wide view and detects pretty much anything. Light is decently bright. The solar pant keeps the single battery in there charged daily. Work great

Seems to charge well. I’ve never run out of light. I also love how they synctogether when one goes off they all turn on.

Ring solar motion light

The solar panel keeps the battery completely charged and it works with my Alexa without an additional hub since I have a newer Echo Show.
