Good product Good video and notification Nights and day time the spot light is fantastic

The camera has adequate quality but I don’t being you can identify a person using it. The sharpness is not the greatest so their face is a little fuzzy unless they are like 3 feet away. It is easy to install and the directions are clear. I went with the wired version because I didn’t want to be bothered with changing out batteries. You can customize motion detection alerts and the motion detection fields which is a wonderful feature. If you demand great image quality i would suggest a 4k camera. This one will just let you know height body type and the clothes they are wearing (the porch thieves).

Great Camera! covers a wide range. Flood light is very bright and the alarm is loud ( fortunately I havent had to activate the alarm but I test it every few months) Works great with my cell phone so I can track everything whether I'm at home or away. I also have the ring doorbell and I recently added the ring home security system. All great products and not expensive in my opinion.

Very good video quality and easy set up nice night vision.

Picture and audio are clear. I did not want hard wired cameras and this was just what I needed.

Same review as for the Spotlight camera regarding reasons for choosing Ring, ease of getting on-line, and install. Ring does offer an under eave mount for $20, I built one with left-over wood. Good range of motion detection and provides good light. The camera cannot differentiate between a person or a spider building a web in front of the camera. It will alert and wake you at 2am to discover it is not your home under attack, but a spider trying to catch dinner.

Excellent camera to have all through the exterior would even work well indoors.

I'd like the set up, control and video quality of this camera. Battery seemed to drain fast though, 10% in 3 days so maybe it will last 30 days, not 6 month as advertised. I will purchase a 2nd battery to go with it, but wish Ring includes a fast charger too. 10hr to charge is way too long.

This is my 4th and final camera around my home, price is steep but if you wait for it to be on sale it is worth every penny. Main factor for me is accessibility of the camera when away from home. There is no router configuration, port forwarding just plug it in. Download the ring app to your mobile device and it follows you through all the steps to configure it. I already had 3 camera and the doorbell pro, i wanted to add just one more eye to a blind spot in my backyard and it works flawless. Yearly/monthly fees are 1/2 the price of other brands as well.

PROS: -- Super easy to set up -- really nice video Quality -- does not seem to miss anything -- extensive settings menu vs. wireless -- has a very heavy duty feeling to it and power connection -- siren is loud for sure CONS: -- Power cord is not detachable (3 prong plug is minimum width/diameter) and caused a problem for me when fishing it through a brick wall. I had to make a much larger hole because of this

We installed this camera above our garage door outside and O.M.G. , the coverage we get is amazing! I can monitor my entire front yard and not to be creepy but i can also see my neighbors house across the street, his neighbors on BOTH sides and half the yard of my two neighbors on each side of my house as well. The picture quality is so clear I can identify the snobby lady who walks her ferret looking dog and doesnt pick up his poop yet picks up my news paper to put it on my windshield -__- 2 way talking is great, the flood light is bright and siren could be a bit louder, I haven’t messed with this setting yet though but will soon !Ill try it when my paper comes again and update this post

This camera works quite well. I have it installed above my garage door and the extra long plug, made it easy to use the outlet on my garage ceiling to plug it in. The quality of the day video is very good. The night video is also pretty good when we have out other lights turned on, but not great with no other light source. But that's one of the problems. You can't integrate this motion sensor with Smarthings to turn on other lights like you can with other Ring products like doorbells. This would be 5 stars otherwise.

Love Ring products. Camera was easy to install and set up. It only takes about one hour to install. Video is crisp and clear. I like that you can customize the alarms. We have 6 cameras and can set different alarms so we know which camera goes off before checking our phones.

We bought this after using the Ring Doorbell and seeing how great the doorbell was, we figured this would work just as well. IT DOES!! It's very convenient to see who is meandering around my yard when I'm both home and away. One super cool thing about all the Ring products is the integration with my Apple Watch and iPhone. They work seamlessly together which is very convenient if I don't have my phone nearby. I highly recommend all of the Ring products. The customer service is great too. Always available to answer questions or help with any of their products.

This is my third ring item. The camera came with a plug but I cut it off to wire it hot. Installation was so easy. To view the camera it is so clear and can zoom in to catch many things wished I would’ve purchased sooner looking to buy a few more to put around the Exterior of the house. Have this one here on my back porch
