I’ve always preferred ring floodlight cameras, but whenever there’s a package to drop off, I’ll get a motion alert along with all the other motion alerts so sometimes I don’t check them but since this has a specific button and you can make it have a specific sound whenever the ring doorbell button is pressed vs motion then you will know that there is actually somebody at the door dropping something off..

The ring is as good as your placement and app dev and usage will depend on your discoverability. The Installation was somewhat interesting. Challenging but not impossible. This was the unit which is rigged to your existing doorbell. I’m glad I don’t have to keep charging the battery. You loose your traditional doorbell and they give you a wireless satellite speaker that mirrors activity in the app for the people inside the house like motion detected vs actual doorbell press. Works well and I highly recommend it.

The person who got it together did everything correctly. But we had to call support team and it was good.
