The acting and story is superb. This movie brought back memories of the old western and how it had a meaning in telling how things really happened years ago in the west.

Awesome movie! Great cast, a movie you can watch and over and over and never get tired of watching it, love Angie Dickenson in one of her first movies.

A Howard Hawks classic, with John Wayne in top form as a world weary lawman trying to help his (drunk) friend Dean Martin defend a town. Hawks later remade this filn as "El Dorado" (which I personally prefer because it's more fun to watch), but this is still classic western cinema. WELL worth a look.

A true classic. I am not a john wayne fan I think he is average at best. but the supporting cast in this engaging movie makes it a must watch.

This is a great movie if you like classic westerns. The bluray restoration looks great and although there's not much special features to it, the movie itself is worth the money. The characters are great, and John Wayne and his supporting actors all do a great job.

This was discounted blue ray and while the movie could have been edited shorter, it is still a good John Wayne movie in his later years.
