I've never watched the old movies but these ones are great

Great DVD overall. Loved the blue ray quality and affects.

I was lucky to come across this deal for two good movies!

My son and I really enjoyed watching this movie together.

as for the movies, i would give "Rise" a B-. the "ape virus" could have had a better story line to make the sequels more clear. "Dawn" i would give a solid B. i enjoyed it more than "Rise". as for the videos, "Rise" had a VERY hard time loading. my vcr is an older model, so i attribute the problem w/ that. "Dawn", the sound cut out. i had to rewind for the sound to come back.

this is great preview to this years blockbuster series.

Can't wait for the next movie. Hope that will continue.

Rise was very good movie, Dawn was not as good but you'll need to watch it for the War.

I must admit I purchased this 1. For her great price and 2. For the free code to see the third installment in the trilogy. I only recently viewed the first film again and enjoyed it. Wish I could give a better review. I need to give the second movie another chance because of the reading of the subtitles for the apes communication
