Excellent product for eliminating expensive cable or satellite bills. Having the integrated streaming apps makes all the difference.

A bit spendy for a DVR. I realize I’m paying mostly for the monthly service. Easy setup. Expected learning curve - as with any new electronics . Fairly intuitive if you’ve ever used a cable/satellite box. HULU app needs updating. A new version of this product came out two weeks after I purchased mine. Not happy about that.

I purchased a Tivo Roamio OTA last year and I liked it so much Impurchasednanothernformmymlower level family room. The best thing about this the commercial skip. Too bad cable did not have this ability. When a commercialmstarts, all you do is hit the skip button and boom you skip through all the commercial. Also, the entire unit functions exceptionally.

lots of great features for us cord cutters, why pay monthly guide and dvr fees for channels that a free over the air... Only a 4 cause to date they do not allow the sling app or vue, so you need another device to make up for that, but I'd think they will add in the near future, then they will be the #1 choice for cord cutters...

This is easy to set-up and use and has nice features.

This was so easy to setup and use. Even getting the remote to work correctly with all the components has greatly simplified our TV viewing. Even though we don't watch too much TV, this has freed us from the scheduled times that the stations show the programs and has give us the freedom to watch when it's convenient for us.

When I finally cut uverse and cable out of my life, I was happy with the tv programs, but I missed having the ability to back up the program, pause a program, or record. The DVR I missed more than the cable programming. So when I decided to try the tivo, I was so pleased to find out it did all of those things and more. I could stream amazon prime with it, it showed me the tv listings and upcoming shows and gave tv info. I am sure there is even more it can do, I just have been too content to look for more.

Love the TiVO. Although the set-up is slow as the equipment updates and reboots, I love being able to record OTA and watch at my own leisure. PBS and the upcoming Fall lineup are perfect for recording. I have tried a number of other options and this seems to be the best. It is a pricey option but well planned out.

I have not personally used the device as it was purchased for my father in law. He lives in a senior assisted care facility and their new cable service requires this unit if the resident would like to time shift and record programming. He is not complaining so that makes it a good review,.

We love our Roamio OTA. The program guide is excellent, and the skip feature blows past the commercials with the press of one button. We have had the unit for six weeks now, and the fan is starting to make some noise. So, I am worried somewhat about the hardware quality. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Enjoying my new TiVo Roamio. Installation was a little challenging, but if you follow all of the installation instructions, suggestions, and do not take short cuts you will not have the headaches that came with my personal installation techniques. DVR has plenty of storage for what I need.

I have multiple units with lifetime service. I never miss a show. and have tons of storage to keep everything organized. I love watching in the living room then going to the bedroom and finishing the show. They all work together in the house and away from home.

I have previously been using a TIVO Premier with great success. I wanted more features and decided to upgrade to the TIVO Roamio. It has surpassed my expectations. The setup was easy and am enjoying all the new features such as commercial skip and Quick mode for a faster viewing on playback. Love it!

The TiVo Bold OTA 4-tuner DVR with 4K resolution is a huge improvement over my old TiVo. The picture quality is much improved. The new remote has voice activation. Mainly it is way less expensive than paying for cable.

This product made dropping our cable service easy. Easy hook up (time consuming), great on screen guide. The only draw back is Your antenna seems to loose some distance connecting straight to the tivo? Seems like I get more channels connecting directly to the tv? But an easy fix is a antenna amplifier.

I was very nervous about cutting the cord because we love to watch TV on the DVR. After I got TiVo I knew I made the right decision. This is very easy to use and I was surprised to see how much I liked the search and DVD function. This integrated easy with VUDU, NETFLIX and HULU. Love it!!!

While it records OTA shows as advertised, it is slow to get Netflix, Hulu, etc to start playing shows. Example Apple TV or my LG TV are almost instant, while the Tivo takes about 1 minute, which is snail slow while waiting. I've experienced quite a bit of scaling due to reception on the ota channels and again with the same antenna connected directly to my TV the reception is good. It seems to me as if Tivo is using older tech in this ota model. I can deal with it since it's saving me money cutting the cable.

Much better than the cable box it is replacing. More features, more in depth information on everything you would like to know about. Great search combination of over the air programing and media that is on a number of streaming channels. One Tbyte storage...huge! Buy it, you will love it.

This is my second OTA Tivo box purchased at Best Buy. Easy to install and get up and running with a wireless connection for internet Other one purchased 02/2015 has been working with very few problems. added lifetime in upgrade so no monthly fees for TIVO box for life of box. Fantastic
