This Tivo is great for cord cutters. All Tivo service included and no monthly subscription fee. When Tivo adds a Sling TV app, this device will take down the cable companies. Until then it is great for organizing all your Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, HBO and OTA shows in a single place.

Ability to record more than one program at a time is awesome!! So is the recording quality.

Just wish it came with streaming capability instead of requiring TiVo Stream. Pricey.

With the rising cost of satellite we first bought a smart tv from Best Buy and then we bought a TiVo. We cancelled our directv and so far it is all working out well for us.

The Tivo Roamio OTA, along with 3 Tivo Mini Voxs, was just what I needed to get rid of DirecTv and save $100/month. The whole set up should pay for itself in less than a year. Works great, very easy user interface to master quickly. Really enjoying it!

I like the machine and support of TiVo and a good option to the cable and sat. options.

The Tivo experience is top notch. This is a must have for cord cutters. You get a great guide, user interface and many applications (Netflix, amazon, hulu, plex). Very easy to set up and with the more expensive unit you will never have to pay a fee for use.

I haven't had much of a chance to learn the programming and recording. However, if it is like the setup, it should be easy. I bought this so that I could cut the cable. This should make it worthwhile.

If you are looking for an OTA solution when replacing cable, I would suggest you highly consider this product. There is a bit of learning during setup but otherwise it records programs and suggests others you might be interested in watching. Really happy with this purchase.

We chose this recorder to leave high prices of Suddenlink and we are very satisfied.

This unit is pricey but it’s a sweet deal for me being able to completely skip commercial breaks, and it’s ability to record four programs at once. Haven’t had it for very long, but so far I love it! This replaced two DVD recorders! I’m happy.

I like the guide which shows the next two weeks for each channel. Also like that I can schedule recording one show or the sequence of shows. Can even schedule recordings from your smart phone with an app.

This was exactly what I needed to purchase in order to "Cut" the cable cord!

Easy to install and works great. To bad it only works on antenna programs.

This is the best over the air DVR I have ever used and I have used several brands. It's menus are simple to understand and it is easy to record future programs. The guide makes it easy to find the program you're looking for and it recordes and beautiful HD.

I'm a long time Tivo fan, and recently upgraded to the 1TB Roamio OTA. It includes lifetime service, so no monthly fees! I really like the skip function, which is much easier than fast forwarding past the commercials. Four tuners is also a plus.

This TiVo Roamio OTA (Over-the-Air) DVR is a cable cutters' dream. The best part is that there is no monthly or yearly subscriptions. The remote is easy to use. The tv guide is easy to understand. It offers awesome features for an affordable price.

Great unit. Easy to use and setup. I just wish it was cable ready to receive digital cable channels. I have cable service that is not scrambled and it would have been a great option to receive them.

Works pretty good but I don't like all this suggested recordings that puts on. These are hard to get rid of period, the wife doesn't like them at all. It's fairly easy to use but a little confusing on the recording otherwise it's a good DVR

We bought this to replace our 5-year old Channel Master OTA DVR and what a difference! We particularly like: 1. TiVo service with no monthly subscription cost 2. The ability to record up to 4 programs at once 3. The ability to set up automatic recording of new episodes in a series 4. The commercial skip feature 5. The automatic prompt to consider extending the recording time for live events that may run longer than scheduled (e.g., football games, car races, etc.) 6. The ability to "recover" recordings that were deleted by accident The one missing feature that we'd like to see is an option for purging all "Recently Deleted" recordings (with an "are you really sure you want to delete all - this can't be undone" warning, of course). Currently, completely deleting "Recently Deleted" recordings can only be done one at a time.
