I like the option of not having to pay a subscription service for my Tivo. It does all that l expect the device to do for an OTA DVR. Setup was easy and the ability to record on four separate tuners at the same time is useful. The UI is very well done and easy to use. All in all although pricy it is a great DVR for OTA recording.

The TiVo is living up to most of our expectations. Had to call TiVo support 1 time with the remote control setup and was resolved in minutes. The only issue we have with it is limited apps come with it and you can’t add to it.

You will need WiFi Internet at home to register the box and service. Yes this device does have channel listings and will record the shows for the channels you should receive...depends on how good your antenna/reception is. $400 is allot of $$ but not paying for cable will wash that out in a few months.

This is all you need for cutting the cord and watching over the air television. With a good HD over the air antenna and a Tivo Roamio VOX you can stop monthly fees, schedule and record network programs, and skip commercials with the skip feature or just fast forward through them.

We wanted a DVR to record from satellite, without paying a monthly charge. The TiVo Roamio fits that bill. I have no complaints, so far, about this product.

As we cut the cable over two years ago we wanted the ability to record and time shift the over the air TV content. this is a great unit to do this. Easy set up and looks ok.

Everything about the redesign of the Graphical User Interface to the lack of having to pay monthly fees for TIVO subscription data makes this device well worth the investment.

I bought this unit for the bedroom so I could watch shows previously recorded on the big Tivo in living room. It frequently cuts out and I have to click various buttons five times to retrieve program. In all fairness my modem is probably not strong enough. Wish I had stayed with previous TV provider instead of switching to a less expensive one.

I use it like a DVR I used to get from the satellite TV provider. It is awesome.

After figuring out the many different ways to use the various features of my Tivo Roamio, I can say that I am extremely pleased that I purchased it.

We cut the cord and purchased this to record the over the air channels. It was easy to set up, easy to operate and performs flawlessly.

I wanted to cut the cord from cable but didn't want to lose the DVR. This is perfect, no monthly or annual costs for the guide.

Purchased box as part of my cord cutting. Having the TIVO box is a great bridge to my previous satellite/DVR set up.

Easy to use. Easy to setup. Works with the Mini VOX. Connects via Ethernet. Does not do Moca.

When my media center pc died, I purchased this to replace it for my ota recording needs. This is leaps and bounds better than the boxes all the cable and dish providers offer...there are so many additional features it has over those. I also love that it works with the TiVo mini so I can have access in other rooms as well. Wish I had bought one of these years ago.
