The DVR looks sleek. The interface is clunky and dated. The recordings are flawless though I wish there was an easy way to get them into the cloud for remote viewing. Costs almost as much as a good TV but so far it has worked flawlessly. This model has lifetime TV guide (no monthly fee).

It was a learning curve to learns how to use this but once I understood it, it is easy to use. We have always watched TV through our antennae so we don't have to spend money on something we don't really watch that often. This makes it easy to record the few shows we like that are only on twice a year. LOVE the D button that fast forwards through the commercials on most of the programs recorded.

It allows me to record up to 4 shows of my over the air antenna. I then can watch prime TV at the time I want to watch TV. The only problem is it records when the show is supposed to be on so sometimes You end up with breaking news or games that didn't end on time.

Works great once I got over the frustrating hump of not understanding why I couldn't intuitively program this (Googling helped much). After activating it, not in the instructions, POWER CYCLE it! (That means pull the plug and plug it back in.) You're welcome.

Bought this to use with a simple flat antenna mounted on a east facing wall. Works as advertised and a great dvr for my needs. I didn't care for the suggested recording feature but now I find it useful. Glad I bought it and would recommend to all.

Took a long time to make the decision to get rid of the cable or dish service, but now that we have the TIVO is a great way to watch most of our shows OTA and for free. We can record if we want to or TIVO records shows it thinks we may be interested in. The quality of OTA digital is better than cable or dish with very few signal interruptions.

Easy to use, but manual does not cover the unit very well.

Bought this and was able to cut the cord fully. Live being able to fast forward commercials. Voice commands are pretty good too. Audio output is good and spatially balanced. I would highly recommend it is still available for sale. I have owned this for about 2 years now.

It's good for cutting the cable. We record a lot of shows. You do have to reset it once in a while along with the remote pairing. Tivo support could be better.

Our Tivo Roamio has performed very well with no problems or issues. It keeps up with new channels that are added with instant reminders they are there. If you want to escape from monthly cost and use OTA, this is the best way to accomplish escape.

This Tivo was a great purchase for me. It can record 4 different shows at one time, has a full TV guide. It has many shows that allow the "skip" button to bypass commercials on shows recorded. Make sure your WiFi is running or skip will not show or work.

Is not a plug and play. Directions very sketchy. Once I figure it out, does everything I expected. Still not completely comfortable, still learning all the various functions.

Great DVR. However, it requires a great antenna to pull in more channels in quality HD. Also, as a streaming device, it is great for Netflix, but not for other streaming apps like HBO Now, Direct TV Now, Hulu with Virtual DVR, and You Tube TV.

After I returned the other on the previous review and replaced with this it had been great. The voice control remote. I am still learning everything but much better!

I have used TiVo since it came out and love it. I don't have cable and this version with no subscription fee is perfect. I did have to replace the fan but it's still working great.

Tired of cable company ripping us off so we got our own TiVo! We are now watching local channels for free while using this to record them and streaming netflix, Hulu YouTube and CBS all acess.
