After an initial problem with a defective power supply that was promptly replaced by Robo the printer has been very reliable. I have run very nearly 3 kg of assorted pla filament through it with very few problems. The two problems I experienced were with bed adhesion and were my fault.

It's good 3D printer, works fast and can use different materials, but quality could be better

Read some reviews before buying about possibly tinkering with it here and there, and i can say that much did hold true for myself also. That actually didnt bother me though considering the quality of the prints it puts out. Would definitely recommend.

I can eventually see one of these printers in every home

It's a nice printer. Could be cheaper since there's no buttons or screen on the printer so you need a computer connected to it to print. I've had a few prints ruined because the computer decided to sleep or reboot. My favorite thing about the printer is that it levels the bed automatically before each print. One less thing to worry about.

This is a great starter printer, easy to use and affordable for a beginner

This 3D printer has been working great. It seems well designed and has a large work envelope. I have over 20 prints so far and only one failure due to me forgetting to spray the bed with hairspray to help hold the part to the bed.

Love the printer. Self l belong b d is a must. Less hassle and more time printing. Must have a computer dedicated to the printer. Wasn't a problem with me, I just users an older laptop.

This was a purchase for my 22 year old Grandson. He has already produced many items, and loves it.

The printer works right out of the box. The packaging is perfect and arrived undamaged

This has been printing almost solid since we got it. Have 2 techy teens and it's been one project after another. Great unit for the price!

It is cheap and doesn't do what you tell it to. Don't waste your money!

The first printer I ordered had an issue with the z axis stop and caused it to constantly rise. I returned for a second printer and so far it has been great. The z axis rods are warped somewhat and will cause issues when trying to lower the extruder to the bed. The only solution I found is to manually turn the z rod until it is past the warp. Still with this issue it still prints great for tall objects.The starter filament is ok but I found Hatchbox filament to be much better. The auto leveling feature is nice and the heated bed is a must for ABS. Just realize that it isn't as plug and play as it sounds. It took me a few days to dial in all the settings right to get great prints. The biggest thing I found to getting good prints is to let the printer print from the SD card slot. While the printer can be controlled from a computer via USB I found that there is a lag issues which can cause bumps to form on the print.

I Bought this printer Roughly 15 days ago. Though at the Start it is a little intimidating, especially if it is your first 3d Printer. The Setup was simple. Mine Came with a corrupt firmware that was causing the printer not to center correctly. But it was very easy to reflash the firmware with the Help of the awesome online support the Robo3D team offers. So I don't blame bestbuy or the Robo Team that mine came with a problem. Its just something that happens sometimes. now that it works, this thing is awesome, im printing 24/7 now and loving it. 10/10

I bought a refurbished Robo3D and it works great. It was easy to set up out of the box. The customer service is friendly and has good availability. The printer has a pretty good build volume and works well with ABS and PLA, but super flexible filaments have not worked well. The printer is pretty high quality and comes with everything you need including glue stick, an SD card, some Allen wrenches, and filament. This is about the closest thing to ready out of the box you will get. The setup is pretty painless to get started, and prints will only improve after you gain experience and tune the printer.

It is not easy to use, and they will sell you apart all other functions

This is a great unit so far. I have only been using it for a few days, but so far so good. The instructions were very clear and helpful and the software is easy to use. Following the instructions, I was running my first print within half an hour of plugging it in to my PC. I will warn that the directions are written for an old version of the software, so the screen shots don't always line up. The description doesn't mention it, but there is a 300g sample of PLA included. The only bad print so far was because it didn't stick to the print bed right away, but that was my fault.

Ok, so i read some reviews about how you might have to tinker with it a little to get it dialed in...that i will say did hold true for my experience BUT, Its also in my opinion that i really dont see how any 3d printer will not need some adjusting here and there or maybe some misc repairs in time. If your not wanting or willing to understand how these things even work than ANY 3d printer is not for you...if your a mechanical person and you like to tinker and arent afraid to think a little at times, then by all means you will have a great time with one of these. Made minor adjustment out of the box, been running like a champ ever since....the quality of the prints are awesome!! Definitely Recommend.
