I was mislead to believe this $869 robot avoids pet poop when sweeping & mopping. Its competitors are guaranteed to avoid poop. The Roborock Q7Max smears is around the house, sucks it into its dustbin, filter & docking station! I contacted Customer Service after its second fecal smearing episode and was told, “ We are so sorrry that Q7Max doesn't support the feature of obstacle avoidance so it did not avoid the pet waste.” I’m returning it and getting an iRobot Roomba for their P.O.O.P. guarantee so I don’t spend days cleaning poop out of the robot’s nooks & crannies, scraping robot poop smears off all the floors in my house then sanitizing everything! If you don’t have pets this robot cleans & mops impressively well.

As a disabled person, i can't imagine what would have to take place to make me regret buying this robo vac. I wish I'd done it a long time ago. I've named it Herbot Hoover and she's staying for good. I have a German shepherd and my own hair is almost four feet long. I have to say Herbot is handling that with zero problems so far. I do give the little rubber brush a quick going over every time i run it. But i honestly thought this would be more of a problem. It does a great job and i absolutely do not regret buying. I have the self empty dock and i highly recommend. My carpet has never looked so good. And I've hardly lifted a finger. Here's the best part, it's not as loud as a regular vacuum so the dog doesn't mind it. In fact, she's created a game about "rescuing" her toys from its path. Vacuuming is actually fun now.
