As a heads up; the Microphone Monitoring feature (hearing your own voice as you speak) can be adjusted via the lower dial on the headset or the ROCCAT Swarm software that it is used with. The software can also turn that feature off completely.

The first headphone to meet and beat Bose.

I use my Bose QC35s for airplanes and long stretches of computer desktop work and the Elo 7.1 blows the Bose away. Crystal clear clarity, perfect tone, and exceptional bass. They are also very comfortable.

Download the swarm from roccat and the superhuman hearing is awesome. They are comfortable in my opinion better than the steel series brand which I gave up to go to these. GET A PAIR and enjoy your games all over again and music.

The only problem is that the dongle doesn't have an easy way to to attach it to a chain or other device if I have to transport them somewhere for gaming, but that is a small nuisance. Very pleased.

Downtown Swamp app to control the RGB or 7.1 or stereo music. It is not Bluetooth but you need to plug the adapter.

I can't say that I really notice a huge difference between the 2.0 and the 7.1 surround sound however they do everything I need and seem like a good build quality.

It's a little annoying hearing yourself breath through the mic. It does have a mic volume adjusting dial and we always have to dial it down. Definitely blocks all other sounds out. Headphones are comfortable, a little heavy for me.
