This is a great mouse to buy! I am making the transition from console to pc and switching to keyboard and mouse. I got both my keyboard and mouse on sale and I love them already! It is going to make learning keyboard and mouse a fun challenge!

Roccat is German design and engineering and the look and feel of this mouse would indicate that. The Kone shape is carried on with an improved thumb area for more comfort and control. The size of this mouse is probably best suited to those liking a larger size mouse. The smooth surface has a good feel to it and doesn't show dirt easily. I like the look of the RGB lighting design as it appears to flow down both sides of the mouse. Swarm software allows customization with 5 lighting zones and customizable DPI. Responsiveness is really good and the mouse scrolls smooth and fast. This Kone mouse features the Roccat Owl-Eye optical sensor with 16000dpi. In use, no issues with responsiveness, pointer accuracy or tracking. There is a lot of flexibility with this mouse as the Easy-Shift button unlocks a secondary function for each button for a total of 24 functions. I can’t imagine one finding any lack in the ability to customize this mouse. The Kone packs a lot of great features for its price and looks impressive as well. Definitely worth consideration for those seeking a comfortable, responsive mouse option.

i’ve had this mouse for a little over a month now and i’ve loved the size and overall build of the mouse. There was one thing that i hated about it, the software, it would constantly slow down my game and mess with my macros set on my keyboard. i would never suggest buying a roccat device ever, unless you plan on not downloading the software.

It was too big for my small hands :( but i loved the design

This is the first corded gaming mouse I have had in a few years and so far it is better than the one I used to use for years from Logitech before going wireless. One thing to note is that it is a bit larger so be aware of that. I am a taller guy (over 6 ft tall) and have larger hands so for me it works well. The first thing I probably noticed aside from the size of the mouse and how well my larger hand rested on top of it was how light it was. It isn't near as heavy as my previous Logitech corded game mouse which allowed me to add/remove weights as I saw fit. Other than that I can't really complain about the mouse itself or the buttons. There are multiple buttons and using the software allows you to change/map different commands to them. In the software you can also customize the colors or synch to your other Roccat accessories like your keyboard and headset like I did. There are also DPI buttons to increase/decrease the DPI sensitivity to speed up/slow down your mouse on screen in real time. Overall I am happy with this mouse but using a corded mouse again has reminded me how much I really do appreciate a wireless mouse even with the hassle of charging. If the cord isn't a concern this is a solid mouse overall.

Great piece of hardware. After 9 months, my beefy fingers have apparently done a number on the main mouse buttons, and they require a fair amount of pressure to hold down effectively.

When I first got it, I was skeptical that it wouldn’t compare to the mouse I was using, but found out quickly that it was awesome and can drag click at 39cps

This mouse was a matching set to the ROCCAT gaming keyboard. It is a nice finishing touch to my gift to the person that I got it for!

Pros: I really like the button placement and features on this mouse. Cons: It is a little slippery for both a left and right side button press. Still, overall a good value.
