This is very good and is still the best party game out there. I think these games will just get better with time. The core of these games are so strong, who doesn't want to rock out? I hope to see better graphics and maybe a new "note/chord" Graphic User Interface.

I started playing games like this about 3 months before RB2 launched. I purchased RB1 and loved it. The day RB2 launched I purchased it. I also picked up GH:WT when it launched but RB has won me over. I have been able to climb my way from playing guitar on medium all the way to tier 7 expert and have loved every minute of it. The DLC is great. They are always updating the content and with nearly 1000 songs to choose from you're sure to find what you're looking for. The "No Fail" option makes this great for parties, young children or adults who are not familiar with gaming. You really feel like you are playing the song! The Tour option allows you to tour the world and play various genres of music throughout the in-game world. You unlock venues, buses, planes and stage hands along the way. Simply put, If you love music you'll love the game.

If you like music, you should buy Rock Band 2. It's that simple. I can't reccommend this product enough! I was a big fan of Guitar Hero 2 and now I'm hopelessly addicted to the Rock Band franchise. There are over eighty songs on this disc and each and every one of those songs can be played in 4 different ways (guitar, bass, drums, or vocals), which makes for a TON of gameplay. All of that gameplay is presented nicely in the game with a World Tour mode that you can now play online or completely solo, tour challenges, and an awesome new Battle Of The Bands mode that has your band competing to get the top score on a certain setlist. If you beat your friends, you have to try to take on the #1 spot on the leaderboards. The core gameplay is addictive as ever and Rock Band drums is one of the most fun things ever in a video game. You should own this :)

the game is absolutely stunning. I am actually trying to unlock everything now but the game is another masterpiece in the long line of harmonix's line of games. so come check it out..... and remember who told you about it

Rock Band 2 delivers a bigger hit than the first one !! it has 84 songs on the disc plus all the ones that you can purchase through the marketplace and you can also add all of the songs on Rock Band 1 !!!

This game is Way better than the last one!!!! The Graphics are amazing, The songs are great this game features over 100 songs on the cd!!!!!!! plus you can download more this game is amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much the same as rb1 but has some minor changes. Live play is easier to do and you can get random players to play with now. the songs are really great too with many choices.

This is a great game for everyone. There are ALOT of good songs that keep you wanting to play. I play it with my friends alot and it never gets old. The Online mode is great!

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! It has so many good songs and it is so fun to play with your friends or family in band mode. The drums are really fun, you feel like a true drummer!

Great sequel to rock band 1. Almost all 84 songs are great, however some are horrible, boring, and i have no idea why they are on it...but the other 83-81 songs are really fun. The drum set needs to be better, but I'm not going to pay for the super high end one.

I have played it quite a bit and i love all the songs that is available in it. Its a great way to pass the time when hanging out with friends

Rock Band 2 is great. tons of people have it so if you don't you should probably go pick it up. It is hours of fun for a low price. Get it at Best buy though if you are going to get it. They have the best selection for the controllers like the drums or the guitar. I think, in my opinion, that Rock Band 2 is better than gh 5. Guitar Hero 5, I think, has a worse song selection. Although on gh 5 you can put songs on from ghwt for only 250 points. If you are looking for a good all around game though, Rock Band 2 is your game!

Rock band2 by far is my favorite music game out and always will be. First of all I would like to mention that one of the reviewers on here said that the 20 free downloadable songs are not true. Well you have to take the RB2 instruction manual to your computer and follow the directions. Otherwise I have not found one thing wrong with RB2. The customization, set list, and every mode in the game is awesome. The DLC of Rock Band is great which just adds on to the replay value of the game. Otherwise it truly is a great game.

Rock Band 2 is a nearly perfect version of Rock Band 1, especially considering that all of the tracks (less 3) can be trasnfered to the sequel. The game is equally as enjoyable, if not more so, than the original. Plus, there are now drum solos! Everything about the game has been improved, only some parts have been improved more so than others. The only reason to not buy this game right now is if you want to have the Special Edition pack that is released in October, so you can have new drums and guitar.

Great sequel to rock band 1, i have the original instruments and they work perfectly so dont feel like you need to buy more instruments (even though it would be nice) Almost all 84 songs are great, however some (like the beastie boys song i think) are horrible, boring, and i have no idea why they are on it...but the other 83-81 songs are really fun. I dont know if its just me but it would be pretty cool if they had some rock remixes of rap songs as well, but overall really fun

The funnest music game on the market. GH is more challenging but this game is more about getting a group of people to have some fun and rock out with.

Rock Band 2 feels just like the original Rock Band and that isn't a bad thing. Rock Band 2 expands on the band experience with special challenges and the "battle of the bands" feature over Xbox Live. The only down side for me was if you want to have all the songs on the disc available for quick play you will have to unlock them in Band World Tour or you can just use a code, but you will not get achievements. Otherwise this game is great and defenatly recommend, especially if you have a group of friends that can come over and help you take the world by storm.

rock band 2 is great for parties and i love playing it.

This game will bring a party to your house, nothins better than hangin out at a buddys house to go jam out on some rock band and get some competition goin, break them vocals in that you never knew you had as well. Good for the parents to get into with there kids gets family relationship goin good cause they love the interaction.

I love this game. I like it much better than Rock Band. I use the old instruments and they work fine. The song list is better, you can do a tour by yourself, the battle of the bands and challenges are a great addition and most importantly forming a band with other people online makes the experience all the better!!
