Our kids and grandkids have a blast! Drums, guitar, and microphone all setup and synced easily. Love the game, but would like it to be easier to retrieve my previously purchased Rock Band music. Currently required to search through 1,500+ songs to find them, very time consuming, not pleased :( Again, I love the game, but I upgraded to Rock Band 4 primary because of access to music I already own. Rock Band 4/XBOX should automatically recognize my purchased music and should have re-loaded it for me after I installed Rock Band 4.

Rock Band has always been fun, and I enjoy this version. However, I wish someone had told me there would be an adapter for old 360 equipment. B/c I would have rather used my Pro Drum set from the 360 rather than buying a new set of instruments. Plus the calibration is off on the drums. And not all my songs from the 360 transferred like they told you they would. I would recommend it still just tell them what I found out.

Rock Band will always be fun, but RB 1 and 2 will be classics. I don't care for the song selection in RB4. The songs from 1 and 2 are epic and if my band set was not in shambles, I'd still be playing them. If you have a family or a group of friends who enjoy the RB games and are looking for a new game then get it. But if you are looking for the epic experience from past games then you may wanna wait and play with someone else...

Did you used to enjoy playing guitar hero or rock band? Then you'll enjoy this. The gameplay is the basically the same, the instruments are high enough quality, the song selection is...okay. If you own any rock band dlc it transfers to this game for free. And best of all, Harmonix has stated that this will be the only RB they come out with for this console generation. They've already added new features and bug fixes since launch. It's a platform, not just one version. If you like rhythm games you'll like it, if you don't it probably won't change your mind.

I did have an issue with my first copy where the drumset decided to stop working after 5 minutes of playing but a quick trip to exchange it resolved that issue and I haven't had any problems since. The on-disc song list for this game isn't as great as some of the past games were but it was nice to be able to redownload all of my previously purchased songs from Rockband 1, 2, & 3. I was also able to import all of the 83 on-disc songs from Rockband 3, although it costed an extra $15 through Xbox Live.

No online and now RB 1, 2, 3 playlists available for import yet but this is a great game. Really innovative new charts despite underwheling on disc track list. DLC will infuse hours into the game. Get some friends and START A BAND!!! FREESTYLE SOLOS ARE THE BEST!

I bought Rock Band and love it. We had the one for the 360 but the drums went out after two years and when I went to get another they stopped selling them. So I made sure I got this one asap. My only issue so far is the base songs are no where near as good as the other Rock Bands so be prepared to spend real money on songs. You will definitely enjoy. Oh and if you are part of the Gamers Unlocked Program you will get 20% off which drops this bad boy to only 200 bucks... Fifty bucks saving.

It's rockband. Drums, bass, guitar and microphone. At this point you can't access songs from rock band one or two. You just gained access to rock band 3. And any songs on the DLC library that haven't been retired. The actual songs that came in rock band four are kind of disappointing. Even the songs by artist that I like were the lesser-known lesser liked songs that don't have the pizzazz that the songs in one two and three had.

It's more of the same, with some unnecessary touches. I personally turned off the new drum fills and guitar solos, but that just essentially makes this the same game we all fell in love with years ago. For someone who got rid of their old consoles that's a good thing. I found the track list to be very lack luster, but I thankfully have a ton of DLC. The instruments are pretty much the same as Rock Band 3 build quality wise.

I love playing this game. There are a lot of songs that I had never heard of, but the downloadable songs make up for it. Take a look at the downloadable songs and you'll find something you like. It is one of the only things in the house that can get my husband, son, and daughter all involved in together. We had a version for the PS2 10 years back that I would play with my now 19 yr old. We have memories and a lot of laughs from then. I'm glad I can now share this version with my younger children making new memories.

This game is awesome. I was stuck between this and Guitar Hero. The one thing that ed me to this decision was the drums. Im glad I did. Yeah guitar hero has a new button layout that is awesome, but the creators of rock band just made everything better in quality. I have played both guitar hero and this and I really like the quality of the Rock Band guitar. There isnt any loud clicking like how they used to be. The quality is nice.

All I can say is it is finally back. Many people waited around for the return as they purchased previous versions of the game with instruments and DLCs. Well it is all back. This systems is strictly for the Xbox One with its own instruments. There is a legacy module to allow use of Xbox 360 instruments with the Xbox One. Everything with the instruments is pretty much the same as before, so nothing new to learn.

Overall, rock band is a fun game with good hardware. This game doesn't doesnt innovate much, besides allowing more freedom with guitar solo's. The song's that come on the disc, most of them don't stick out, and aren't anything exciting. This game pretty much want's you to buy new songs from it's store.

This game is fun for the entire family. The toughest part is agreeing on what songs to play. When I read the review I was worried about the drums not registering. This is somewhat true. The drums are the hardest to hit just right and get to register every hit. However, if you spend the time adjusting and practicing you quickly get to a point where it isn't an issue.

It's nice to finally have one of the best party games available on the current gen consoles. The new instruments are quite the improvement, as in the auto calibration. I wish there were more on disc songs, but the backwards compatible DLC more than makes up for it.
