    Compact unit that plugs into the wall and not a bulky unit with a long cord. Side plugs make it easy to plug into so your plugs are not sticking out far which makes it easy for tight spots.

    This little compact surge protector by Rocketfish uses only one outlet (but offers two AC inputs for protection) and frees up the other unprotected outlet for something else. It's very easy to determine if it 'bites the dust' or not: power fails to be delivered to the item plugged in and the light will no longer show green for protected.

    This low profile is keeping my coffee maker safe. Before this little guy, I had 3 coffee makers die due to surges. I have a granite back splash and you don't notice it at all.

    With the storms in Texas, it’s always a good idea getting one of these. Got this one since some of the lights in my lamps always fry up during the storms, now they don’t anymore
