My TV only has 2 HDMI ports on the back, so I needed something that would allow a minimum of 3. I have a PS4, Xbox 360, and an Amazon Firestick connected to this Rocketfish and I love it. It switches easily between the different devices. I would definitely recommend to others.

I finally have enough HDMI ports for all my modern game systems. It works perfectly. I bought cheaper versions elsewhere and they didn't work. Only complaint is one of the inputs is in the front of the device. Seems odd.

I've had a previous model Rocketfish HDMI switch for years and loved it, so I figured I would upgrade when I got my LG OLED TV... This seemed fine most of the time, but certain instances of switching to and from my PS4 to other devices did not allow the HDR "handshake" or whatever, requiring me to hard wire my PS4 directly to the TV, bypassing the switch. I checked multiple sites for solutions, but it appeared to be a known LG-PS4 battle over who would fix it or something. ANYWAYS, the switch works as expected for everything else, and it works well with my Logitech Harmony One remote so I give it a 4 star review for working well and integrating near seamlessly into my entertainment setup.

I had been searching for a new HDMI switch box online but could not find one I liked so I decided to stop in at my local Best Buy to see if they had what I was looking for. After a little bit of searching I found the Rocketfish™ - 4-Port 4K HDMI Switch Box, I liked the way it was made, it felt more durable than the one I was replacing. Installation was super easy, simply plug in the various HDMI cables, connect the box to the power source, turn it on and you are set. There is plenty of room on the back for every HDMI cable to plug in with ease. I also love the fact that it comes with it's own remote making it unnecessary to manually change the port on the box if I want to go from my cable box to my blu-ray player to the gaming system. I have been using the Switch Box for a couple of weeks now and have not had any issues with it. I have to say that if I ever found that I needed a second HDMI Switch Box I would absolutely return to Best Buy and purchase another one!

works as good as any other brand, maybe better. A little pricey but works for what i need. I bought an off brand one online and it was horrible. worth the money

Great device and works well however will need to purchase HDMI cables that comply with the 4K standard. Could also use a better remote or have a button to change the inputs

Easy to hook up and get functioning. But the remote doesn't work on the first push of the button. Eventually it switches. Wish it had more ports on the back of the box for additional plug ins.

This HDMI switch was exactly what I needed. With only 1 input on my TV that supports 4K/HDR, I needed a way to hook up PS4 Pro, XBox1S, cable box etc without having to manually switch out the PS4 & XBox hdmi cables. The switch itself does great and supports 4K & HDR....no issues for me. The remote on the other hand is garbage! Very rarely does it switch on the 1st or even 2nd push of the button. Sometimes it may take 10-15 pushes before the input will switch....which is very annoying, but ya get used to dealing with it I guess.

I absolute love this purchase! Easy set up and comes with a small remote to switch in between devices. Only downside is sometimes it switches to its own thing randomly but not a huge deal.

The box is super useful and easy to connect and use. Just wish it was easier to control ..the sensor is so small you have to contort yourself to get the remote to work

Bought this for the AV closet then I only have one 50' HDMI cable through the wall to the tv. One draw back is it's IR not a RF remote so you have to manually switch or keep the AV closet door open, but that's not an issue for me since we tend to watch ONE source 99% of the time

This item does exactly what is advertised. I have a smart TV with only 2 HDMI inputs, So I put my cable box in one and this HDMI switch into the other. In the switch I have a PS4, PS3, XBox 360, and XBox One consoles. I like the remote control accessory to swap input. I have played each gaming console thru the switch and not noticed any loss of video quality. I have not tried sending a 3D signal thru the switch, but it does not advertise that compatibility either.

Great device if you have multiple devices and not enough HDMI ports on your TV. The wireless remote is not the best, and requires you to be very close to operate with it.

I use this with just about every TV I own. With some devices, it'll switch inputs for you and it makes life a lot easier. Make sure to use 4K compatible HDMI cords.

Its compact and small making ease for placement. I had a possible connection issue, but could have been my fault. I ran a high quality HDMI from the 4K Apple TV to the splitter and a lower quality one from the splitter to the TV. I switched them and now I haven't noticed any interference or delay. The switching from each channel with the remote isn't the best. Most times one click does not accomplish the switch. I am maybe 3 feet away from the splitter so perhaps I'm too far away, but it always eventually switches. Overall the item works for me and I think it can work well for others.

A little pricey unless you get it on sale but if you have a good surround sound this is your only option to run everything through it and then connect it to your speakers , good quality , easy to use, great brand .

This specific item was exactly what I needed. I built a custom recessed set of shelves to house my surround sound amplifier, cable box, DVD player, printer, modem and router. Ran new electrical circuit and installed power oulets for each shelf so no power wires could be seen, and also ran HDMI & RCA hook-ups to the built in cabinets directly adjacent to the new shelves where the TV is positioned. Cable lengths to the TV were 15-18 feet. This item allowed the use of 6 foot HDMI & RCA from the shelves, then one 12 foot HDMI to the TV. Saved a ton on HDMI cable cost.

Easy to set up and use. I definitely recommend it if you have multiple devices to connect to one tv. It works great with my sound bar, Roku, and gaming consoles.

When I purchased a new sound bar I was limited to accessing the HDMI ports on my wall mounted TV without having wires exposed. This rocketfish product was the perfect answer- it uses one HDMI input and splits to 4 others. Comes with a super thin remote that turns power on and off as well as changes the 4 available inputs. I wish I found this year's before and made life easier. Works well, no issues. Does what it says without any quality distortion.
