When I purchased a new sound bar I was limited to accessing the HDMI ports on my wall mounted TV without having wires exposed. This rocketfish product was the perfect answer- it uses one HDMI input and splits to 4 others. Comes with a super thin remote that turns power on and off as well as changes the 4 available inputs. I wish I found this year's before and made life easier. Works well, no issues. Does what it says without any quality distortion.

A little pricey unless you get it on sale but if you have a good surround sound this is your only option to run everything through it and then connect it to your speakers , good quality , easy to use, great brand .

I bought this hoping to be able to use it with both my 4K DirectTV client, Sony 4K media device, and my Sony 4K TV which only allows 4K through one HDMI port. It didn't work for this purpose but I suspect the issue is more with the Sony Media player and the TV because of propriety issues. Because of the number of devices I have I was still able to use it to easily switch between devices, it just wouldn't work between the two Sony products

I wanted a switch for my HDMI devices because everything runs out of a closet for a TV mounted over a fireplace. Really wanted something that I could switch manual rather than using a remote. This came with a remote and I thought that was my only option but it allow manual change as well by pressing the numbers on the front. My DVD player display kept flashing on the screen and thought it was the switch, but I had to place the DVD on manual setting rather than auto and the problem went away. Everything else worked fine in auto mode. Good switch and the remote works well with it, but of course you have to be infront of the HDMI switch for that to occur. Again good HDMI switch.

Works great flipping back and forth between outputs. When using provided remote control, it's slow and delayed. Easier to just press buttons on front with your hand.

This specific item was exactly what I needed. I built a custom recessed set of shelves to house my surround sound amplifier, cable box, DVD player, printer, modem and router. Ran new electrical circuit and installed power oulets for each shelf so no power wires could be seen, and also ran HDMI & RCA hook-ups to the built in cabinets directly adjacent to the new shelves where the TV is positioned. Cable lengths to the TV were 15-18 feet. This item allowed the use of 6 foot HDMI & RCA from the shelves, then one 12 foot HDMI to the TV. Saved a ton on HDMI cable cost.

Easy to set up and use. I definitely recommend it if you have multiple devices to connect to one tv. It works great with my sound bar, Roku, and gaming consoles.

After a very short time started having issues with certain things working, the remote became useless, but I did use this for what felt like a very long time before ultimately replacing it. I definitely felt I was able to get my money's worth.

Its perfect price point and works great! Been through quite a few on Amazon and none worked out, so glad this one did!

We bought this right around Christmas because the new 70" TV we bought unfortunately has only one HDMI port. Right off the bat, that HDMI 1 port in the front is incredibly ill-placed. When we purchased the unit, I assumed that was the OUT port. Whoever placed it there needs to be scolded. It is a MAJOR pain, particularly with the stiff HDMI cords that are not flexible at all. Second, the remote is insanely difficult to get to connect with the unit. It is usually easier to just get up and touch the numbers than try to get the very narrow sweet spot in the air. But those two aside, up until this morning, just over eight months later, it has done the job with no issues. UNTIL THIS MORNING. The unit has ceased working. At all. I thought it was the TiVo box. But nothing we did with the cable technician worked. So I began trying the PS4. Nothing. Then the BluRay. Nothing. And finally, I plugged the TiVo directly into my one HDMI port. Everything works fine. The switch box is broken. Not cool, especially since I paid $120-ish for this back in December 2019. I have long since thrown out the box and manual, so I have no idea if there is warranty, or even know if I would want a replacement at all since I am unhappy with the product.

Trying to set up a Roku with a TV that only has 1 HDMI slot. Roku suggested not to use a HDMI Switch Box. What do have to lose? If it does not work I can always return the Switch Box. The setup took maybe 5 minutes. With another 5 minutes the Switch Box was working with the Roku, TV, Cable Box, and Playstation. The ease of use is excellent. Switching between connections is simple. The remote works great. The price value is right on. This product is highly recommended.

This is great for those tv’s that only have 1 or 2 hdmi ports and you need a lot more. Easy to setup. Recognized right away.

This solved my problem of only having 2 HDMI outlets and a need for more to get Roku and a Blue Ray player added. Setup was easy on my Samsung TV and Xfinity cable service. Very satisfied.

Set up the switch box. Easy set up, just insert hdmi cables into appropriate slots, insert one into tv, plug unit in, set up remote and works fine. Might be somewhat expensive, but previous switch back was half the cost and began to deteriorate, DVD player started malfunctioning, so I replaced it . This seems much better quality. Saw a much cheaper one with fewer ports at Walmart and I did not buy it( seemed like it would not last more than a few years.

Literally excellent for what it’s intended to do and really easy to connect.

The switch does exactly what it’s supposed to... select 1 of 4 HDMI inputs and send it on through to the big screen TV. The blister type buttons on the remote are phinnicky and the remote is tiny. I use the buttons on the switch box.

The good: I was able to turn an old plasma tv in my bedroom into a smart tv so I could watch Netflix and Amazon Prime using a Amazon firestick. The bad: The remote control works but poorly. I can still switch from my firestick to comcast by hand. Could be a deal breaker for some people. The only reason I didn't take it back was I really wasn't expecting a remote control to come with it, and I only use it in the bedroom

Yes , remote is a little weak as others have mentioned it JT working or dead battery (maybe that’s what I need), but overall, I put it n our bedroom and left channel 1 open, because it is in front for video camera or someone brings a video game like Switch. Channel 2 is Firestick, Channel 3 is Chromecast, and channel 4 is Security Camera System. So I have to grab the TV remote (or DirectV remote) and switch to input 2, then grab the switch box and make the switch. I do like better than getting up and switching cables

Works awesome, made it super easy for the kids to switch between systems to play. Exactly what i wanted. Only reason its not a five-star is slightly confusing trying to set up the automatic feature. Directions were clear and understandable but implimenting them was as easy as it sounded
