Looking somehow add bluetooth capability to an old component system. Was about to buy another one similar to this until I asked a sales rep. He mentioned he had better results with the rocketfish one. Glad I took his suggestion. Connected it to my OLD receiver and works without a problem. Able to listen to my music from my tablets, computer, and phone. Does not get any simpler than following instructions and connecting via bluetooth.

I purchased this Bluetooth receiver to allow me to play Spotify music through my legacy stereo system and speakers. The ease of connection and use is great. In addition to Spotify through my smartphone, I found it easy to channel my smart TV’s audio output through my stereo system using Bluetooth. The sound quality is really good.

This unit is small, well built and offers not only decent sound from its own DAC over analog miniplug out, but optical digital out to allow my own, higher end equipment to act as DAC for sound originating from a phone or a tablet. Bluetooth is not an audiophile interface, but its easy and ubiqitous, so its nice to be able to push the tech to its utmost quality. Only real drawback is that it has to be re linked to a device that isn't the last one used. I keep it linked to my wife's phone, as that is generally where music in that setting originates. But what if she wants to use the big sound system for a Youtube video from her iPad Mini, or, heaven forbid, I wanted to send sound from any of the other devices we have in the house. I may eventually go looking for some tech that will let me manage multiple more readily, but for now, under normal circumstances, we get very good sound quality through this device.

I bought one of these so that I could stream through an older Bose Lifestyle system that I have on my patio. It works great. I can even have my phone next to the pool and get a great signal and listen to music uninterrupted. I liked it so much I bought a second one to use with my B&W system that is in my basement and it works and sounds great.

I wondered if it was possible to get Bluetooth to work with my older stereo, and this works fine. Now I can play mp3 music from my phone on the stereo. There were very expensive other options, but this does the job. I found I had to adjust my bass settings to get the sound right, but for pax. $35 it was a good option for me.

Pretty straight forward. Connect to power, connect RCA or AUX to your speakers, connect Bluetooth to the phone, and enjoy your music wirelessly! Range is pretty solid, claims up to 33' but it worked beyond that for me. Con: It is a little pricey for a store brand item. I found out afterwards that Logitech had one for $39.99 at the time. Look for that one first if you can, it claims 50' too.

I am enjoying the ease of use, and consistent quality of my new Rocketfish bluetooth music receiver. If your current speaker system does not have bluetooth, HDMI inputs, or optical inputs... this bluetooth receiver is an excellent alternative for most all new Smart TV's, cell phones, iPads, or whatever device that can transmit using bluetooth.

The Rocketfish blue tooth receiver has allowed us a seamless way to listen to our playlists on phones & iPods. Simple to hook up right out of the box. Plugs right into port in back of receiver (& into power port on back of receiver as well). Syncs wirelessly via bluetooth iPhone (or other device like iPod). We love it! SO Affordable!

This device works so well for me I got a 2nd one. I use it to hook my tablet to my DJ mixer for DJ gigs to use with my other professional sound equipment. Really helps cut down on the wire clutter. Great sound quality and range is pretty good for bluetooth.

I've got an older Pioneer Elite receiver with optional Bluetooth. If you can even find a Pioneer Bluetooth Adaptor the price generally runs well over $100. I bought an Amazon Echo dot to connect to the receiver through the audio cable connection but the sound had an annoyingly brittle quality. I picked up this and connected it to the receiver using the optical audio output. Then I use the Echo Dot to send it the signal streaming from my Amazon music storage account of my own uploaded highest quality MP3 rips. The resulting audio quality is almost indistinguishable from the the sound played back from the the original CD. I imagine it's helped along a bit by the processing done by the receiver as well. For non-critical listening I find it quite satisfying for daily background music. I'm amazed at how clean the sound is for bluetooth.

This product is easy to install and set up with the app on your phone. It is easy to connect. It's like magic. Price is amazing!! Connect it to my 30 year old Denon multi-source sound system and now I can play Spotify or Pandora through my phone to come through the deck speakers.

This handy device lets me prolong the utility of some pretty good but very old audio equipment. I am now running my iPod through a 1970s Marantz receiver and a pair of Audiolab floor speakers. Works flawlessly and the range easily covers the house.

I have been looking for for a while for a good way to add blue tooth audio capability to my older home stereo system. The works perfectly, and I have had no issues whether connecting my computer or my phone so I can listen to my music wirelessly.

This Bluetooth receiver was very easy to set up and the sound quality is very good. I use it with an audio receiver I've had before they came with the Bluetooth built in and I was impressed with the sound quality. I've only used the optical output. I haven't tested the headphone jack as yet.

This unit is a great little bluetooth receiver. I've got it hooked up to my home stereo and it receives BT streams from any source of music without skipping or any appreciable distortion. Well worth the price, and exactly what I was looking for.

I have a high-end reciever & a set of Reference Series Klipsch's... i can access it from pretty far away with my Android & can crank it up loud enough for my entire neighborhood to hear it & it's crystal clear... I can't tell the difference from my streamed music from my wired 4k UHD Blu-Ray ...I'm happy

Got one of these for a set of computer speakers turned bookshelf speakers. It was just what I needed, connects to the last paired device just as soon as it’s turned on. Clear audio. The price was right too, got this on the deal of the day and even took an open box one. No problems so far.

The Rocketfish Bluetooth Receiver is awesome. I was considering Apple TV to stream music from my iPad, but the salesman at BestBuy showed me this device. It is perfect for what I needed. Hooked it to my Sony home theater receiver and can now stream to my surround system. I love it, sounds great.
