This is a great product. It was quick and easy to install. The Bluetooth works flawlessly and eliminates stacks of cd's, because I can play music from my android phone, including Pandora.

This device sounds great when using the optical input! The range in my basement is at least 40 to 50 feet and it connects instantly! I'm very satisfied with this purchase!!!

This is an inexpensive route if you want to stream music with older components. I have been looking at Sonos Speakers and the wireless 'Connect' receiver. I didn't have the $350 to spend on the Sonos Connect plus more for the speakers, so I opted for this Rocketfish for $50. With the Sonos, you connect via WiFi so your sound isn't compromised. The Rocketfish is blue tooth, so since the signal is compressed, you will notice a difference in the sound quality. I have an older system that 20yrs+ old, but wanted to stream music thru it. So for this application it works fine. You plug in the RCA connection to your receiver, and you're good to go. If you're looking for more upper end quality, look at the Sonos.

I purchased this item to work with my Alexa echo so I could listen to music outside. It was very easy to set up and attach to my amplifier and well with the distance of it being indoors while my Echo is outside.

This little gadget attached to your old component stereo and allows you to use any of your technology on your stereo. Allows you to stream iTunes, Pandora and personal audio library. Very cool product to bring your dinosaur stereo into the 21st century.

I wanted to attach the Amazon Echo Dot to my stereo system and this was a great solution. Connects well from long distances and the digital out produces great sound.

I purchased this upgrade for an existing receiver to try out after reading some 1-star reviews. Make sure to use the optical port on your receiver for crystal clear performance. I assume any negative reviews was because of the secondary use of RCA jacks instead of optical. If no optical input on your receiver, probably time for new receiver instead. 33' range from device, stated, was close to 40' on my experience. I Put on remote switched plug to allow instant pairing on startup instead of physically turning on and off.

I wanted a Bluetooth adapter for my home stereo and finally bought this one after doing the research. It works perfect and hooks to anything. Even has an optical hookup for the newer stereo's and analog for the older stereo's

It is much better than I thought. I recommend to anyone who wants to buy a receiver by Bluetooth, the sound is very clear, and the max reach is very good.

I used this to add Bluetooth to a Yamaha receiver through an optical channel. Sounds great and my phone reaches it through a brick wall and about 20 feet away with no issues.

Bought this for my garage stereo. The range is incredible, even through my house walls. Sounds really good hooked up digitally with a optical cable.

I purchased this exclusively to allow my Echo (Alexa) to communicate through my Home Theatre system. Echo has Bluetooth. This product receives the Bluetooth Audio Signal and outputs it, through the RCA cables, into an Input in my System. I've also used it to play music, from my phone, through my system, but Alexa uses my Music Subscription services also, so I only did this once, as a test. High quality sound. No signal loss, during the pass-through.

It was easy to plug in and pair with my mobile devices. Streaming from Amazon Music for hours was so good! Great way to expand my already large musical library for listening pleasure.

This is a very basic Bluetooth receiver for connecting wireless music sources to a component stereo system. There is nothing elaborate about this product and its physical quality seems questionable due to the light weight and flimsy cables. However, it is both effective and unobtrusive and easily syncs with whatever device desired. Given that this function is routinely built into almost every device as a minor component, I suspect the housing is an afterthought and rightfully so. Bottom line; if your looking to bring the old component stereo system into the current century, this is a reasonable option.
