I needed to connect an older monitor to a computer with only a HDMI port and this adapter worked very well.

perfect tool to connect an hdmi monitor to an older desktop...highly recommend this product...i've been using it with no issues for nearly two months

Simplest least expensive solution to out an old DVI monitor in use as a second display via the HDMI only output of our new laptop that has no VGA output. Great picture quality!

I've used several different brands of adapters with varying degrees of success and failure. This worked with with an old Intel motherboard and brand new HP curved monitors with HDMI.

A little pricey but I was able to use a HDMI cable with an older monitor that only have a VGA and DVI connection. Just plug in the HDMI to the Rocketfish adapter and that's it.

Got this so my son could play his Xbox on an old LCD monitor I had laying around. The monitor had no HDMI but is 1080p so this adapter allowed him to hook it up to his Xbox and all is well.

I needed an adapter which was shorter so it would fit on the back end of my Icom transceiver without getting in the way of other connections. This works better than my previous adapter.

The HDMI port went out on my old plasma tv but it has several input options to include DVI. I was able to continue using the TV with this HDMI to DVI adapter. Saved me purchasing a new TV.

This HDMI(Female) to DVI male adapter works great for a 2014 monitor i have that for some reason didnt have an hdmi port, but the product it self works great!

this adapter saves your a lot since you can easily connect to your monitor then run your HDMI no need of other cables.

There really isn't a lot to say about this. It has worked well for our PC. I have not had any issues with it. It seems to hold securely and it stays in there pretty good. A little on the expensive side for a simple adapter.

It seems to be exactly what you'd expect. the connections, from both ends, seem quite snug, and the video quality doesn't seem to have any noticeable issues.

Acquired a very nice but older projector that did not have HDMI input, but I didn't want to run another cable. This adapter worked perfectly from HDMI to the DVI input, and the picture looks great!

I used this adapter to hook up a large monitor to my laptop and it works great. My picture is so clear. Now I am able to view a larger display screen without purchasing a new computer modem. Great product !!

This small piece hooked up an older projector to the new blue ray player. Picture is great. Saved me from replacing the projector i owned that did not have HDMI connections to one that did.

After receiving a second monitor for Christmas, I was in a bind when it came to my video output. I own a 580 GTX video card, which has only one hdmi port and two dvi ports. Seeing as both my monitors only take hdmi, this product fit the bill perfectly. I get the perfect color spectrums and response times that I'd expect with a standalone dvi or hdmi cable. If you're in a similar situation, this will solve your problem.

The HDMI-toDVI adapter is small, simple to use, and works great. It's my favorite kind of electronic device; plug it in and forget it because there's no reason to check on something that always works.

I have always tried to find rocketfish brand due to them being extremely name brand like and well made works as intended just dont think you will get sound because dvi doesn't carry audio.
