Great little lap stand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This little knee tablet stand is great. Holds well and seems supportive. I like the straps that keep it on your knee. Very handy while relaxing on the couch.

Basic stand for phone or iPod
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice little stand for phones or iPods. Has a flexible back that you can adjust and holds a phone nicely. It's really too small for an iPad or larger device, but nice none the less.

Doesn't stick well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product worked great for about a week. After that, it stopped sticking to my ipad mini. I followed all the directions on how to clean the pad and store it. It still didn't work. I will be contacting Rocketfish on the issue.

Best tablet accessory ever made
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyone who owns a tablet should own one of these. It's by far the best accessory product I've ever owned. Some products are okay for their intended purpose and you use them as needed. This product is designed to be so versatile that you'll end up using it to prop up your device even when you normally wouldn't. You'll basically end up using it in situations where you would think you wouldn't have a free hand. Have a free leg? That's all you need.

Works as expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have been waiting for this to be released from its Kickstarter site for sometime. It works great to hold up the iPad and other devices. However, I do have a back cover on my iPad, of which it fits in the holder, but the sticky, rotating piece, does not stick to the case. Works great on my daughter's iPad without a case though. Using it right now, in fact.

Very Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this little gadget. I just wish it was a little easier to leave it attached. Meaning when I want to run out the door I have to pull the back off and then reinsert my iPad into the other case. So I sometimes don,t put it on if I know I want to take my iPad later in the day. But when I'm home, I love it. Stickiness is quite good even after several uses and washing it.

GREAT PRODUCT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Regarding the strength of the grip plate the following comes from PadPivot website FAQ. How strong is the holding power of the "Grip Plate"? It's strong enough to provide great support while sitting with your tablet on your lap or when using the pivot function. The PadPivot weighs next to nothing so it doesn't take a whole lot of holding power to stay with your tablet as you move it around your desk or from one leg to the other. The "Grip Plate" is not a mechanical connection or a harness and should never be used to hang the full weight of a device. Never use the PadPivot as a handle! Common sense will go a long way in keeping your Tablet safe.

Works as intended....cool.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice product. The pad holds the stand to the back of a tablet. Don't expect it to hold the weight of a tablet it's not designed for that. Nice while sitting using the stick plate or just propping as a stand on a leg or a table.

Very convenient stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had ordered one of these in the original Kickstarter funding, because it looked like a great concept. Then I started kicking myself, because I hadn't thought to get one for my significant other to use with her tablet. I am very glad that the creaters were able to work out a deal with Rocketfish, to bring this to a wider market! As a warning, the package I purchased did not actually have the strap inside it. You may want to check before you leave the store to make certain it is in there. I didn't find out about the missing strap in my package for some time, because she didn't realize there was supposed to be one included, and the stand was well-used, and the receipt gone by that time.

Small and light stand for tablets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the Rocket fish pad pivot for my Smasung Galaxy Tab. I bought it on a whim as Deal of the Day from Best Buy. I tried it on my leg per the instruction and found it was unstable and the tablet was likely to fall. Tried it on the table and it worked great.. It props up the tablet better than the stand on the roo case for the tablet. I use it to prop my up tablet on the kitchen counter while cooking to easily view recipes. It is also useful for reading books and articles. One has to take the tablet out of the case to use the stand, so have not used it much around the house. Not so convenient for activities where one has to use the touchscreen often like checking email and web surfing.

Great multi-use stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my HP touchpad tablet. It works very well for it. Where the device really shines however is when used as a simple smartphone holder. I have not found a better, holder for the price. I have them scattered throughout my house and office. It is an awesome phone holder...It will securely hold most devices. I have used it to hold an ipad mini, hp tochpad, wii-u tablet and my samsung galaxy s4...I have one on my desk, one on my nightstand, one downstairs, and one at the office...i am purchasing a few more as gifts... great price, great product...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good gadget!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this thingie, the answer to a pilot's prayer. There was no place in my cozy little airplane to put an iPad that didn't block important instruments or my view out the window. Besides, my right-seat passenger complained that it made his hands cramp on long flights, holding the iPad so I could read the charts. The nice salesman at Best Buy, bless him, listened to my problem, and said, "Maybe this will work. It's on sale right now." So I took a chance on it, and it's just right. I mounted the holder on my right-seat passenger's thigh (my own legs are too short and close to the instrument panel) and strapped it snugly, then stuck the iPad on. It swivels so that I can choose between the portrait view and landscape view, and it's not in the way of anything else. The design to hold the iPad upright on a table is nice, too. Only a couple of quibbles: I'd have made the elastic sturdier, and the sticky pad bigger, because a couple of times in midflight it unstuck itself. Fortunately, my co-pilot has quick reflexes, so no harm done. And I'm sure there's a way to make the swivel stiffer so it stays put better. Just haven't played with it enough to do it. But for any pilot looking for a way mount their moving map-equipped iPad so it can be easily read and out of the way, this is it!

Great product, very easy to use!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually participated in the campaign on KickStarter a few months ago for this product, so from personal experience it is top-notch. The actual function of it is incredible, it's easy to use and ready at a moments notice. The form-factor is awesome, it honestly looks as if Apple had a hand in the aesthetic design. It truly fits in well with any Apple device, as well as anything Android based. I've used it with my iPad2, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4th Gen and my girlfriend's Droid Incredible and it's quite possibly the best cradle you can buy. Definitely recommend buying!

great for using tablet on your lap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what is advertised to do. you need to be careful if your tablet is heavy or the back is not flat. sticky pad is not meant to hold full weight of the tablet.
