I got this game for Christmas and I love it. I've messed with playing the guitar for a few years but this actually gives you the tools to learn how to play songs.

Awesome tool to learn strings, frets, chords. Also teaches you about tuning but sometimes is time consuming when you just want to play.

It seems pretty easy to use, Im gonna have to work on my hand eye coordination though. It's hard not to look down at you hands

I bought this for my son and ended up using it more myself. It is fun and an outstanding learning took. Also, my two sons that don't play guitar love the arcade games.

such a cool idea to combine video games with guitar lessons. always loved the Rock Band series of games, but being able to use a real guitar is 1000% better. Now, if only i had the free time to play i'd be a master!

Great music selection, i'm an absolute beginner with a guitar and i'm loving it. I got no warning about the time lag you get with HD connection. Beware and get the analog cables to connect PS3 to your HD TV.

I really like this game a lot. I have wanted it for a while. It is helping me learn the bass. I love that it keeps adding new stuff all the time.

Well I bought this for my PS3 system. But I ended up buying the MAC version instead. It's easier to follow along on a laptop than a game system.

It's been a blast playing with my son-in-law who knows how to play guitar somewhat (plays some songs excellently), but doesn't know the science behind it. I really enjoyed how it changes up as you play: the more accurate you are, the more "notes" it throws at you and as you start to slip, it throws fewer notes. The most aggravating part is tuning the guitar before each song. It can be a real pain if you only play a specific song for a short time and change to another. I really thought the graphics were fine and the sound great.

I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The amount of instruction is great and they way you learn is definitely unique. I recommend Rocksmith 2014 Edition highly for PS3!

This hype is right. This will be the fastest way to learn how to play your favorite music on bass or electric guitar. I just picked up a Jazz Bass and Rocksmith 2014 to have a new musical hobby. The song selection is great and after a slight learning curve, I have learned to play my first song without using the game for assistance. My only knock is that I wish that the game also showed notes so I could take my techniques to sheet music for some of my favorite songs. Either way, I am very happy with the purchase.

This game is great for kids and adults with a common interest in playing the guitar or bass. Very easy to setup and start learning.
