Great game that helps you learn to play real songs

Switch between lessons, learn a song, and guitarcade to keep things new. The "Rocksmith Recommends" section after each song is awesome as it lets you know where your weaknesses are. I do wish the times between games of the guitarcade. When you lose it takes (what feels like) too long until you can try again. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something to dedicate a few hours a week to.

Its a really fun way to learn guitar. Great interface. Wish they had included playing shows as in original but otherwise super.

Great for beginners just starting to learn how to play guitar. My young son's even liked to try it out. I would recommend it.

Decent for beginners but if you're a mid level guitar player or above it may not be worth the price for you. I played it for a couple hours the day I bought it and that's it. I've been playing guitar off and on for about 20 something years. I hate that there is a slight lag from the time you strum til you hear it play through the speakers. Overall though if you are new to guitar it is an ok tool.

It is hard to keep up with playing one hr a day even with no kids but it does really work. Great songs.

This is a good game and the price is very reasonable.

Overall a great learning tool in addition to a game for persons who are more adept at gaming.

It really helps learn the guitar. There are some occasional issues with it claiming a miss even if you have hit the right strings with your fingers on the right spots but those are very minor and could just be due to the lower end guitar I purchased with it. There are very valuable lessons in the game and the positive feedback is great. The worst I've heard from the game is simply "Needs more practice".
