Great teaching aid for someone learning to play guitar.

Just wish there was some Christian music that came with it.

Fun while trying to learn to play songs can be buggy.

I had just started guitar lessons and thought I would try this out as well. It is a little different, but I do find myself picking things up on this quicker than at lessons. definitely worth the try

Rocksmith makes learning guitar or bass fun. It makes the logical jump from games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band and using plastic toys to using real instruments and teaching how to play them.

There doesn't seem to be a lesson plan that I can follow and so I just try some stuff here and there and the difficulty ramps up faster than I can handle at times.

Excellent Game really enjoyed Family , they loved my children is very entertaining and interactive practice really helps you

As a lifelong musician, I was pretty stoked to have a game that I can plug my Les Paul into and jam out. Other reviews warned me about the input lag, but the game doesn't even register a lot of the notes that I hit. Might try the PC version, since the included cable supposedly works on it, too. It is fun, but can be a little frustrating. Some of the songs are not playable with the delay.

Everything I read about this products lag online points the finger at the users audio equipment. I'm not talking about internet lag either. I'm talking about lag between the game and the interface, so they your guitar lags behind the music. WTF? How can the problem be with my audio equipment when ALL of the sound guitar and music, are coming out of the Xbox HDMI. The same problem existed on my friends copy as well. Maybe it's both of our "audio equipment"

It's a neat concept that helps break up the monotony of practicing. I don't know if you can realistically learn guitar just using this game.

The issue is that it is a hassle to deal with all the cables and wires (in addition to all pre existing wires and infra associated with the Xbox one. My view? Better off hiring a teacher.

Started 2 days ago and already building calists on my fingers!. Playing guitar is hard work but this makes me more confident then ever!

It was good on how it taught you how to play a bit had at first to look at the screen and try and learn. Only problem I had was it didn't work to well with a cheap guitar

The sounds you get are pretty nice. The latency makes it almost unplayable. Nothing worse than plucking a string only to have the sound come a second or two later. All the songs should be available to you right away instead of having to work to unlock them. The idea behind this seemed good however, I been playing guitar for quite a long time and I'm not real convinced that this game would help someone who's just learning.

We picked this up for my wife to learn how to play guitar. It seems to work well when paired with one on one lessons to get started.

ThIs program is awesome as slow as I am to picking up the notes. . It just continues to work with you until you have mastered it..
