This is real guitar lessons that helped my son learn with his new electric guitar.

Not for people who play guitar already. It doesn't really teach the correct way to play songs... It's like guitar hero and VERY slowly teaches you some basic notes and chords of a song. Eventually you are allowed to play the song... you're better off just looking up tabs on the Internet if you want to learn a song. There is a pretty cool mode where you can pull up a fretboard and practice different scales and keys; you can pick instruments And they will jam with you based on how you're playing.

Great learning tool and fun too !!! Tried other programs to learn guitar but this one is actually working.

This game teaches you basic play of the guitar and how to play current songs and some top older songs.

I love this "game" so much I bought it again on on Xbox One. It less of a game and more of a teacher with infinite patience. I had never picked up a guitar before and now I can play a few chords. I feel it's working. I especially love the "Guitatcade" which is a bunch of mini Arcade like games that help you learn. I highly recommend this game. It way cheaper than lessons done by a human and its there on my schedule. Buy it!

I had the original 2014 version for 360 and HAD to upgrade. The integration was great, and the visuals, though slight, make a big difference. Now my girl and I can play and learn together because we now have 2 cables. Well worth the purchase!!

It is such a fun way to learn to play the gutair lots of great songs to rock out too.

Rocksmith is a great learning tool and game for anyone looking to learn to play a real guitar.

Rocksmith has been the most unique and best guitar and bass guitar trainer; the latest iteration doesn't dissapoint, continuing to raise the bar and incorporate new features that work well with current gen consoles. Rocksmith 2014 has been rumored to be the final release, but I believe that is unlikely, as it has been so successful,- and new song material has endless possibilities.

I have the original Rocksmith and Rocksmith 2014 for xbox 360 and was disappointed that I had to purchase another Rocksmith 2014 for xbox one. As with any music station, some songs are great and some songs are not my style. But I am learning how to play songs better. Great instruction and practice.

I am really enjoying the speed and graphic clarity on the next gen versions. Sound quality seems to be better as well. Other than improvements I would expect in a next gen release it is the same as the older gen versions.

Needs more songs to choose from. Over all it's not to bad

As the title states, getting a perfect set up can be frustrating as input lag and sound lag can become problematic. Nobody likes a hassle and this can become one. Google this issue before purchase.
