This is a good game. Glad you get to use a real guitar and that it includes the cable. Some good songs and also more available with dlc. Got it for a great price so I'm happy overall with this.

I saw this interface and teaching tool for guitars and could not pass it up. So far, my daughter, who is the aspiring guitarist in our family has had the most fun with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone that has an electric guitar and likes Xbox.

I have played guitar for 5 years prior to getting this game and I was extremely shocked that when I started playing I couldn't keep up with the songs! This game is highly technical and extremely accurate I love it and the selection from the uplay store is amazing!

my kids told me that if you want to learn how to play the guitar, then this isn't the right choice. If you already know how to play and want to learn some songs then this is right up your alley!

The "Easiest way to learn guitar" huh? I'll be the judge of that. No reason to question any of their marketing claims! WAY cheaper than paying for personal or on-line lessons

Great software with a lot of fun/good tools to learn how to play guitar. Soundtrack is pretty solid. Backwards compatible with the old dlc/original Rocksmith, however not all DLC purchased was available at the time of original purchase.

This game is a great and fun way to learn guitar. Just remember, though, that it is meant to teach, and isn't set up exactly like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Good tracklist, but the DLC is insanely expensive.

I used to play guitar so I bought this game and it made me want to get back into playing. I have trouble having to look at frets to see where I'm at to play along, not a habit I would normally do when I play but with practice it gets easier. Just wish there was a better way to get the songs you want. There's a lot in the game and a lot you can dl, I'd rather pick from a list of songs and get the amount set in game vs what they give you.

This works pretty well. I thought it was more of a training tool, but in actuallity it is an upgraded version of guitar hero with a real guitar.

I'm still learning how to use this game correctly and I wish I could download more than just rock songs, but so far I'm enjoying it. Will be playing it a lot more this year.

I actually had this game. It was just that I had upgraded to xbox one and needed the new version of the game. The nice thing about this game is that you can use it to learn how to play or in my case get back into playing. I played bass years ago and wanted to get back into it but work odd hours. So, this was an opportunity to get back into it and be able to play whenever I wanted.

I had never picked up a guitar before until I played this game. I learned the basics and did a ton of hard work outside of the game, now 4 years later I can play the guitar well. This game alone will not teach you how to play like an expert, but its a fun way to get started down the path.

I improved my guitar skills really quick. I highly recommend this to someone beginning to learn or someone who wants to stay fresh playing the guitar.

I think this game is a great teacher! You get right into the heart of things & it's not easy....my son has to really work these lessons!

Between the song selection and it automagically detecting prior Rocksmith purchases and opening them up in the library, to the fun arcade style lessons that focus on a wide range of guitar playing skills; this has become my favorite guitar-based "game" to learn guitar. I even have the option to learn bass in the future, which is a great plus. Outside private lessons, if you put your mind to it, this game can really have you seeing improvements in your playing. If anything else, you can learn to play some great songs. Along those same lines are why I gave it 4 out of 5 - it needs more songs in its library. Good start though.

I have always wanted to try this game, so when it was on sale for black friday I thought perfect. I know how to somewhat play the guitar, but using this game was super hard, and no matter what guitar I hooked up it would never fully sync right. I don't know if I was doing something wrong or what, but overall i wasn't happy with this game at all.
