    Worst pong game ever made.

I love pong\table tennis games and when I saw this I had to have it. Yes I know, I read the bad reviews before I bought it, but I bought it anyway figuring that they just couldn't handle the game. Well, they were right, this is a TERRIBLE pong game. It doesn't matter how or where you swing the remote to hit the ball. And there is so much lag in swinging the remote and having the character move the paddle that you can never really hit anything consistantly. Forget about getting any type of fun back and forth rally going. Avoid this game!!! I hear that Wii Play has a pong game in it, but I don't need another remote that it comes bundled with, so I can't go that route.

    Big Table Tennis Fan

I have always been a big table tennis fan. When I saw this game for the Wii I bought it with high expectations. Although the game has some good graphics and is fun to play it lacked a variety of game modes and different playerd. The controls for the game were somewhat limited at the easy level, but quickly became challanging at higher levels which included the nun-chuck. Definitely a game worth buying if you like table tennis... especially if the game is on sale.

To be a grand master, unstoppable opponent in Rockstar's Table Tennis for the Wii, you need to be able to shake the wiimote steadily. That's all. If you own or have access to a paint can shaker, simply attach your remote and turn it on. Congratulations. You are now invincible. This *almost* isn't even a video game. The manual and training mode assure me that careful spin selection and timing are imperative for successful play. I saw no evidence of this, and EASILY shut out opponents by simply shaking the remote steadily WHILE IN THE KITCHEN MAKING A SANDWICH. This is not hyperbole, it really happened. All that is required of you is to swing the paddle anytime before the ball gets to you, and your player will wait for just the right moment, and return the volley flawlessly. Aside from knowing when it is your turn to serve, you really don't need to be near the tv, or have eyes, ears or a brain to be a totally unstoppable player. I will be returning this game after work.

Menus are slow and over animated. Biggest problem tho is you can't make player be lefthanded which makes this game worthless to me.

I love ping pong and I love Wii, which is why I picked up this title. However, this game is simply aweful. Avoid at all costs, you're much better off sticking to Wii tennis or the real thing. Do not buy!
