This is another great movie in the Star Wars franchise. This is another of those fill in the holes between the other movies. It serves its role well and is very enjoyable. We saw it at the theater when it first came out so we already knew what it was about. For a first time viewer it will have a couple of unexpected twists. I would highly recommend it for any Star Wars fan.

This story is almost the Magnificent Seven set in space. A band of disparate misfits comes together to fight the Empire in a story that leads directly to A New Hope. The storyline is darker and grittier than the typical Star Wars story but that doesn't make it any less entertaining. An absolute must see for any Star Wars fan and highly recommended for everyone else.

K2 is a worthy addition to the wisecracking droid heritage of Star Wars. This movie nicely fits in right before the Star Wars Episode IV, A New Hope and answers questions I'd had since 1977. I had feared that Disney Studios would simply exploit George Lucas' brilliant work. I am glad to say that I was wrong; they have handled the properties with respect and thoughtfulness.

The movie doesn't require you to have a knowledge of the force to be able to enjoy it. Of course it has some flaws but every movie does. If you want to watch something grittier than the prequel trilogy but weren't enthused to watch movies made 30+ years ago than you should really give Rogue One a shot. This is a story about Father's and Daughter's and wise cracking droids.

Awesome & spectacular, the sound mix is just outstanding and enveloping , definitely one of my Star-wars favorite side story , just properly calibrate your 7.2 home theater , adjust room ambience lightning get your pop corn and prepare for the ride , my kids just love it .

Movie looks great. Streaming movies don’t compare to the quality of a 4K blu ray disc player and a 4K disc. There are so many issues that could happen when streaming movies on internet. Now there are so many people on the internet that could affect movie quality online. Nothing beats the quality of discs.

Rogue One is like a Star Wars 'war movie'..this is the gritty, dirty work be- hind the scenes of the first film. Great leads and action keep it moving, 3D and CGI effects are awesome...[with a slight caveat for how far CGI has come in impersonating dead or older actors from the first film...it's a little jarring to see]. Definitely looking forward to more along this line.

This is the most hardcore Star Wars film. Has more of a warlike feeling to it than the previous 7 films. Takes place in the time period right before the 1977 original film, where the plans to the Death Star are desperately trying to be attained. Too bad it is only a one time film, rather than a trilogy. I really liked it. In a different way. A must see for Star Wars fans.

Best Star Wars since original Empire strikes back! This is an instant classic by Gareth Edwards. It is an excellent prequel that occurs just before the event of a new hope. The writing is strong as was the action scenes with all the characters incredibly well fleshed out and developed. Look for cameos from Darth Vader, Grand Moff Tarkin, and Princess Leia amongst others.

What can I say except PERFECTION!!! This is another GREAT story that helps connect two complete trilogies together. It makes sense of the ruined 1, 2 & 3 movies which sent do justice to 4 "A New Hope", 5 "Empire strikes Back" & 6 Return of the Jedi. It connects to the audience as 4, 5 & 6 does, but it has the flash that 1, 2 & 3 tried so hard to achieve. It's BRILLIANT!!!

Saw this movie in theaters and loved it. Pre-ordered the blu-ray once it became available. I've loved all the movies (for the most part - looking at you, prequels) and was excited that there was going to be several spin-offs. Excellent cast and the storyline was good. Hopefully I don't get burnt out from the yearly release of a Star Wars film over the next several years.

I really enjoyed this movie and it's a must see for any Star Wars fan. I don't want to spoil it for any one so I won't talk about the storyline other than to say it explains more of the prequel to the series. The characters were great and the special effects were exciting. Each one of the movies seems to be somewhat better than the previous, can't wait for the next one.

Excellent! Took me back to the original Starwars! Or, just before that technically. But seriously, this was very well done. Very much in the same vane as the originals. I am not a fan of the Di$n&y kiddie movies I, II, and III. I think they stunk. But Rogue One was great. Felt like it could have been released in the 70's, with the others. Must own for any Starwars fan!!!

A must own Star Wars movie! If only the Sequel Trilogy had turned out as great as this. The 4K HDR transfer and audio on this are spectacular but I also own this in 3D and WOW that is experience is not to be missed even better immersion than the 4K HDR version.

I enjoyed The Force Awakens, but Rogue One is a better movie. Upon rewatching The Force Awakens it became much more apparent to me just how derivative the story is, and how much it relies on a vehicle of nostalgia to propel it along. Rogue One demonstrates clearly and independently that the spin off titles can be successful, and it fits so beautifully before A New Hope.

This is a great movie. Worthy of recognition in the original saga, in my opinion. Yes there are no Jedi but you get a chance to see what it took to get those plans and the sacrifice that was made by all who took part. I loved it. I also think the storytelling was better than The Force Awakens.

This grim and gritty story of war and espionage is a great bridge between episodes 3 and 4. It's well written and takes care to expand the Star Wars universe without stepping on any toes, or changing any already established details. The characters are rough and likeable, and make you care about them and their fate, it's a great movie and a great bridge for the movies

This film is an excellent movie that just happens to be a Star Wars movie. The Force is not the central focus while action non-stop takes over. More like a war movie than previous Star Wars films, its plot is tough and its characters risk everything to get the Deathstar's plans. Rogue One is a great watch whether you are a fan Star Wars fan or not, check it out today.

Just love this latest installment in the Star Wars saga.So far I've watched Rogue One 11 times and yet when I watch it,it's like I'm looking at it for the first time.The action,actors,CGI and plot are one of the best spin off's from the original Star Wars trilogy.I highly recommend this DVD.

First of all I would like to say that I was a little disappointed that this movie did not follow after the last Star Wars movie that was released (The Fore Awakens), but it was another great addition. It was probably one of the darkest Star Wars movies to date but it did a great job bridging the gap between episode III and episode IV. I would recommend it to anyone.
