Wasn't sure if I would like this movie due to not having the normal characters like the other movies. Turns out that the movie is as good as the others. Really enjoyed the action. Wish the Star Wars series would continue to branch out to cover even more parts of the saga than the normal movies. I would definitely recommend this movie be added to anyone's collection.

It's kind of a shame that this was a single movie instead of the usual trilogy that the Star Wars franchise has been known for. Really enjoyed the cast in this movie, I truly believe its the best Star Wars movie since the original trilogy. Great cast, great effects and a wonderful story with a sad but necessary ending. A must see even if your not a fan of Star Wars.

Great movie picture and sound are fantastic 3d was good as well depth is what the 3d has to offer not alot of out of the screen 3d effects like the Force Awakens 3d bluray but the movie is enhanced in 3d only con is alot of the steelbook i saw were dented to various degrees i found one that was mildly dented so i took that one but collectors may want to look closely

I am a big fan of "Star Wars" movies. I was watching every Star Wars movie. I remembered waiting for the front of the movie theater trying to watching this Star Wars movie. When I purchased this blue-ray, I can also be watching through Google play. This blue-ray give me the option for streaming. Now, I can watch anytime, anywhere my laptop or any other devices.

I've seen this three times prior in the theatre and couldn't wait for it's DVD release. It's a great movie, and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. It had everything, from drama, espionage, ground and space battles and...DARTH VADER!!! Here's hoping that all future stand alone Star Wars movies will be just as good and entertaining as this.

I'm a Star Wars fan and I love them all ... but from my perspective, this is one of the best. In my opinion, the film making and story telling are much closer to the original than are some of the other more recent films in the series. I'm also one of the few remaining 3D fans, and for those if you who like 3D, this is definitely worthy of being in your collection.

If you love Star Wars, you will love this movie as well. It is a great movie that leads into Episode 4. The effects are visually stunning as well as the characters. You can tell where they added extra parts in at the last minute. But over all, it is a stunning movie. I am looking forward to all the extra Star Wars stories that they are planning on coming out with.

Bought this to go with my Star Wars Steel Book collection I purchased awhile back. Not as impressive as the other Star Wars Steel books (i.e. the back of the steel book is not the movie poster). A bit disappointed because of this, but the set does include the DVD & extras. However, awesome movie and great for collectors in adding to their Star Wars Steel Book set.

Blu Ray quality is exceptional. Crisp picture with plenty of punch and a hard hitting soundtrack that is crystal clear. The film? A wonderful addition to the Star Wars series that excels as a standalone entry while exceeding as a bridge between the saga trilogies. And if anything at all, seeing Vader in his prime and showing how truly terrifying he is--worth it!

The story itself is pretty good - although there are some small inconsistencies with the first film "A New Hope". I thought that including Grand Moff Tarkin was key to linking this to the original film. (of course this is done with CGI) The best scene in the film for me is at the very end when we finally see Vader display his combat skills like a true sith lord.

For any "Star Wars" buff, such as myself, you have always wondered what came between Episode 3 and 4. This film certainly (and fantastically) answers those question, leading directly to where Episode 4 begins. Incredible! Great story, dynamite acting and special effects, and gives any "Star Wars" fan their fill of galactic references and cameos. Highly recommend!

It's Star Wars so you know it's good. And I'm sure you know by now that this will take place immediately before the original Star Wars (Episode Four). Lots of new characters and some of the ones that we've seen in the other movies. Definitely add this movie to your collection.

I wasnt sure how well a stand alone Star Wars movie would be and was skeptical after the disaster Disney left us with on The Force Awakens. To my suprise it exceeded my expectations and was one of the best in the Saga besides the original 3. Only thing I thought that could have been better was the cover art done for the steelbook but, thats just me being picky.

Loved this movie just wish it had a better end but it was way better than The force awakens . I always wondered what all went into getting a hold of those deathstar plans and all my questions were finally answered. Really enjoyed the story and the acting was fantastic. Only one warning if you love the Rebels or Resistance this movie will shake you to your core.

The product is as you would expect. Bluray, dvd and digital all in one. Really like this trend of including digital copies since they'll link up to my Amazon account so I can watch them almost anywhere. As far as Star Wars goes, its not my favorite, but its still pretty good. Better than the prequels, but not as good as the OG trilogy or the Force Awakens, imo.

I'm not going to review the movie as fans will already know the story. This review is for the Blu-ray release. Excellent job, reference quality audio and video, lots of extras, beautiful packaging, contains 3D, 2D Blu-rays, DVD and digital copy. If you're a Star Wars fan but haven't seen this yet, I highly recommend it, one of the best Star Wars films to date!

This is a great side track movie to the star wars saga. The story completely explains the part of the episode IV where it is mentioned that many people died to obtain the death star's blue prints. The screenplay of the movie is faithful to the star wars saga. It is also very entertaining and has a lot of action from begining to the end. I highly recommend it.

I am a huge Star Wars fan, so I absolutely picked this up on release day! 3D copy inside is nice, love the steel book finish! Problem: knew I couldn't make it to the store until late on release day Solution: do site-to-store pickup Good thing too, b/c this edition was sold out, and it would not be mine if I had not ordered online. Really great experience!

I loved everything about Rogue One. The usage of Darth Vader was excellent, especially at the end with the hallway scene. That was the Darth Vader i've been wanting to see since my childhood with the original trilogy. The newer characters were good too, especially Jyn Erso, who is absolutely beautiful and fierce. K-2SO, Base, and Chirrut Imwe were great too.

Star Wars as we know it had changed over the the years and although it is a modern take on the old legend it has to be accepted as that. New to the old fans and newbies as well. Not bad for a non real Star Wars movie and a look into the lore that is Star Wars. For fans it is a look into an unknown past that shaped the Galaxy as we know it.
