Excellent movie in all respects. The star wars saga is explored more in depth in this " prequel ". This new installment answers questions surrounding the death star and it's inception. It delves deeper into the darker aspects of the rebellion and their endeavors to resist the empire. A must own for true star wars fans. The blu ray quality is on point as well.

Not going to review the movie since I'm sure if you're buying it you're a Star Wars fan. So I'll talk about the steelbook. It's got a very simple design, not too fancy but not terrible. Could have done with a little more pop. The metal used it a bit flimsy but if you're careful it should be fine. Love that the 3D version was included. Worth the $24 price tag.

The movie itself is fantastic. The idea of having movies that are not in the trilogy series is great and explores an even bigger Star Wars universe. The features provided are sufficient to keep one entertained. The steelbook case looks great as they always do from Best Buy. If you're a Star Wars fan or are new into the series, this is a great movie for you.

Rogue One was better than my expectations for the movie. After putting too much hype into The Force Awakens, which was good but I don't think mind-blowing, I tempered my expectations for this one. It's an uneven movie, with an interesting start and a fantastic third act, that kind of drags in the middle. Characters could've been better, but overall I enjoyed the ride. The Blu-ray package is great, though. Disney, to its credit, really knows how to put a great image onto disc, and load up on the extras. Sure, there are more-special editions with extra stuff, but this one itself is great for anybody who wishes to own Rogue One. Really solid purchase.

If you're a Star Wars fan you'll appreciate some back story that leads directly into episode 4, where the saga begins. If your not a fan it's still a great movie that can stand on its own with no prior knowledge of characters or story line that it compliments. No matter how new or old your go to video player is there's a format in the box. Must watch imho!

I like the steel book Star Wars movies that Best Buy sells. They're really cool looking. My only complaint as far as that goes are the cases, being metal, have a tendency to show scuffs over time. The movie itself is amazing (best since Empire) and the 3D was not bad. I really like that it came with Blu Ray, Blu Ray 3D, DVD, and a digital copy all for $25.

Of all the Star Wars movies Empire Strikes Back was my favorite. But now I think Rogue One beats that by far. Empire was kinda dark with the rebels losing and so is Rogue One. And the very end is the best. I got chills seeing it as it reminded me of the excitement of my past (late 70's and early 80's.) seeing the movies. This is a a movie you have to own.

Great entry into the Star Wars universe. I was thinking this movie was not going to be that good because it diverged from the main story line and cast and delved instead, into one of the side stories with unknown characters. How wrong I was. This story helps fill out the whole and the movie was just as good as any other Star Wars movie I've seen. Loved it.

While this is an "anthology" film it exists in the Star Wars universe and it's a remarkably well done film. It shows the Rebel alliance in its early days and its disunity and shows the brave story of the rebels who got the plans for the first Death Star. If you're a Star Wars Rebels fan, you'll like seeing the live action Ghost and Chopper cameos as well!

This movie gave some great background to events that tie into previous movies and will be enjoyed by those young and old. I grew up with the originals (4, 5, & 6) and would say this one is on par story wise and cinematically with each of the recent releases. If you are a Star Wars fan you will definitely enjoy this latest installment in the franchise.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first in a series of standalone films set in the SW universe to be released. If future films can uphold the quality of Rogue One, then fans will be satiated between Episodes. The story of the rebels who stole the Death Star plans and put them in the hands of the Alliance is as exciting and heartfelt as you would expect.

I loved the fact they finally made a prequel to the original Star Wars. I do wonder why most of them seem to be British. It's a good action movie and the best scene is Darth Vader just slaying his way through the troops. There was some over the top but that's just how movies are done these days. Overall I bought it and added it to my Star Wars collection.

As a Star wars fan, this is a must for your library! On the off you haven't seen this, it will take your breath away. This by far is now my #2 fav Star Wars movie. And it ties seamlessly into "A New Hope". I mean, it's jaw dropping. The story completely and totally hooked me in. And IMHO, Vader has never looked more dangerous in any film I've ever seen!!!

This movie is by far a worthy entry into the world of Star Wars. It captures Lucas's universe way better than the prequels ever did. With a strong female lead and an outstanding ensemble cast this movie screams a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. The full cig Gand Moff Tarkin was a little hard on the eyes but it didn't tear me away from the film.

There have been many negative things written about this film, the flaws in the script, the story line, etc... But I found it to be a wonderful filler story to explain the unanswered questions between III and IV. We can now watch how the deathstar plans were acquired and how they ultimately ended on Tatooine. I repeatedly enjoyed the film, flaws and all!

This edition of Star Wars Rogue One is amazing! I'm so glad that Best Buy provided this edition because the steel book case looks really great and you get 3 different versions of the film: 1 in 3D Blu Ray, 1 in Standard Blu Ray, and 1 in Digital. All of that is provided for about $25.00! Thank you so much Best Buy for releasing this edition it was great!

Many claim that this prequel is unnecessary or that it "ruined the canon," but I like to think of it as a spin-off story that isn't canon at all. Sure, it doesn't make sense when bridged into Episode IV at the end, but at least there's a plethora of characters you feel and care for. I commend Gareth Edwards for his excellent job.

For all of us who questioned 'how did they get the plans for the Death Star in the first Star Wars, anyway?' here's episode 3.5 - 'Rogue One', filmed in the tradition of the original three movies. Very pleasant fill-in prequel that we've been waiting for - for only forty years! Very entertaining, and revisits the Lucas style of the series - I loved it!

I always like to buy a movie I'm looking forward to when it comes out on disc. I can then sit back and enjoy it, take a break, go back and watch a scene again, when every I want to. This movie no breaks, no going back. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. It didn't take long to know that I would be watching it again. Great addition to the Star Wars movies.

No one's going to blind buy a Star Wars movie because everyone has already seen it. So, if you did see it, you know about the quality of the movie. As for the home viewing experience, it's a shame that 3D tv sets are no longer being produced in this country, because this was a great experience at home in 3D. It's definitely the way to watch it. Save 3D!
