or is it vice-versa? I really prefer watching movies at home rather than sitting with noisy, cell-phone abusing, talking out loud folks who make paying attention to the movie almost impossible. At this kind of price, it's like buying two tickets, eating home-made popcorn -- and then being able to watch it again and again, if we're given the inclination.

This installment sets the stage for Episode IV. Excellent movie. Darth Vader does make an appearance twice (Voice Over By James Earl Jones), which is really all that is needed for this movie. So, if you ever have the time to watch the entire Saga, just start with this movie. I, II, III are the biggest waste of time. Acting in this movie was impressive.

For the first standalone movie in the Star Wars franchise, this movie was outstanding. It's very hard to write a movie within the franchise, with expectations as high as they can be, and keep true to the storyline from within the other movies without detracting from the standalone. Great job. Oh, and the BEST droid within the franchise, along with R2.

Probably the second best Star Wars movie to date. High bar was set with Empire, not sure what could beat that. Haven't watched the extras yet, but the Blueray quality was great. Only issue was the case was broken in shipping to my home causing me to go into the store to return it. Had it shipped to avoid the trip to the store, learned a lesson I guess.

a great stand alone story , disney is doing a great job with this franchise. a great family movie, fun for everyone, and how it ties right into the beginning of a new hope, was done real well. this movie captures the feel of the original film. the only thing this movie lacked was more vader, but that is just nit-picking. this is a great movie!!!!!!!!!

A worthy follow on to the original Star Wars, now also known as Episode 4: A New Hope. These two mesh so nicely that one could be forgiven for thinking that they were done together, and not 40 years apart. One can only hope that future installments will follow in the footsteps of these two films, and not veer off into the disappointing episodes 1 - 3.

I absolutely loved the Rogue One movie. It kept my and my family's interest the entire movie. As with all Best Buy Steelbooks the packaging is awesome. The 3D aspects of the movie are average. There were times during the movie that I forgot I was even watching it in 3D, because I expected more 3D content out of such a good movie.

I really liked this movie. The story was great, it was well acted, and the beauty of it all was incredible. It was the most entertaining from start to finish. I liked The Force Awakens and barely liked the hokie The Last Jedi. This is a well thought out and filmed movie and belongs in the Star Wars Universe. I recommend you see it!!

While it clearly tells a very different part of the story, Rogue One is in many respects the sort of Prequel that Episodes I, II, and III should/could have been. The story-telling is well done, if not entirely without inconsistencies. Most importantly, it is an excited sci-fi adventure that will appeal to life-long Star Wars fans and newcomers alike.

I bought this movie in Steelbook to continue my Star Wars collection in Steelbook. I am so glad that it was offered in this format. The artwork is a bit different from the others but so is the movie. My only problem was where to place it with the other Star Wars movies, between 3 and 4 or after 7. I put it between 3 and 4, in chronological order.

Anyone ever wonder about the "Plans" that Darth Vadeer always spoke of in "Star Wars: A New Hope," and how they were stolen? This movie explains it all. Explains why Leia was in such a hurry aboard her ship. It is the perfect missing piece of the Star Wars saga. Worth watching again and again! No Star Wars collection is complete without this piece.

If you've ever seen the first Star Wars movie from 1977, there are several references to rebel spies and their efforts to steal the plans for the Empire's ultimate weapon -- the Death Star. Until now, the story was largely untold. If you're a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy, this missing chapter of the saga is a must-see. I highly recommend it.

My experience at the Bloomingdale store was great. I was in a hurry to purchase a new release Blu-ray film & it was displayed right when you come in the store so I could just grab it & there was a short fast line & was able to buy it fast & had a really friendly cashier that added to the happy experience of buying the product at this store. Great job

I love all these films the fact they went back and made a movie to tell the story of what we didn't see makes me love these films even more. this is and was a great film i didn't get a chance to go to the movies to watch it so having it on blu ray was the next best thing. great film for any one that might be are becoming a fan of these type films ..

Having enjoyed the movie at the end of December and having all the other films, it only made sense the obtain the full movie package at the best price : which was naturally Best Buy. Haven't had time to watch the entire movie again but did "scene select" to get to the ending : the perfect lead to Stars Wars IV (the original movie from 40 years ago).

As an avid Star Wars fan, this movie was essential to keep my collection complete. Not only was the movie itself excellently done, the story line and plot kept your focus with special effects and intelligence. The ending was a bit of a departure from the typical which only added to the overall quality of the film. A must have for any Star Wars fan!

This was a great spin off Star Wars movie. It had all of the same elements of the original movies, and was a very dark movie. Even though you know the outcome of the movie they do it so well that you still fall in love with all of the characters. IP Man "Jedi" was amazing! And best Darth Vader scene in any movie in Rogue One! Definitely a must buy.

Just like the original trilogy this is the way a Star Wars movie should be made. Well written even when the ending is already known ahead of time. Edge of your seat excitement.

Whether a person likes the movie depends on the individuals taste. I will comment on other aspects of the product. First, the cost of the product was a great deal. Usually, the set would be 29.99 during the first week. It was only 24.99. Second, the steel book packaging is very nice. Overall, the set was a great addition to my Star Wars collection.

Such a beautiful movie and wonderful story...AND it's set in he Star Wars universe. No spoiler here, but if you haven't seen and love the original 3, this will answer some questions for you. Of course, if you haven't seen and love the original 3, id be really confused. Pick it up. You won't be disappointed, even if you're a casual fan.
