Movie - great. Special features - great. There is a special feature that shows some of the easter eggs in the movie. I wish they showed more of them. Now I have to go online and search them. So much work. If you're a Star Wars fan you don't have to read this review so . . . enjoy. Oh and if you're not a fan then . . . go ahead and start.

I've been a fan since seven years old and loved it since! This was a highly anticipated movie for me and I loved it so much I saw it in theaters two times. I knew I would have to get it on DVD to further my Star Wars collection! 10/10 recommend it to anybody. Whether you've been a fan for years or just starting out, Rogue one has it all!

What a fantastic Star Wars film. For the first film outside the Skywalker episodes....they nailed it. This definitely shows the Wars part of Star Wars. Great cast and great nods to the other Star Wars films both the original and the prequel trilogies. The force is strong with this movie....I'm one with the force and the force is with me.

I liked Rogue One. I liked it a lot. But for one reason or another I only saw it once in the theater. What I love about the Blu-ray is that on top of getting a high def copy of the movie, there's also a digital copy as well. So you can take your movie on the road. There are ample special features to delve further into the mythos as well.

Just prior to "A New Hope", the Rebel Alliance makes a risky move to steal the plans for the Death Star. This tells about who they were and all that they sacrificed to save the Rebel Alliance. This could be called Episode 3.9 because it all leads directly into Episode 4. A great story can come from those willing to give up everything.

Didn't see it in theaters, so didn't know what I was getting. The movie started out a bit slow, trying to set scenes and develop characters, but about a third of the way into it, boom, it got totally "Star-Warsy"! Great ending, great story, and with the $5 rewards discount from Best Buy, great price (especially for 3 different formats!).

I really dislike the steel books. This is,an exception. Had to get the 3d too for my collection. Glad it released the same day as the blu ray unlike episode 7 which had a specific 3d release about 9 months after the blu ray. I pre ordered mine which I'm glad cuz the cashier told me that it had sold out at the Albany store within an hour

This is Star Wars, so you know you can expect great action and special effects. This one has great acting and directing as well. As a perfect lead into a New Hope this one fits seamlessly into the Star Wars saga. Interesting characters, new planets, and a great story line that builds and finishes with a bang that has to be experienced.

OMG. This is a awesome movie. It is so good, even the dead come back to play their parts in the movie. It is a great fill in movie between episode III and episode IV. It has comedy and action and not a sloppy love story. It is odd though it has no scrolling title credits at the beginning like all Star Wars movies do. Still a must see.

This movie is an amazing installment in the Star Wars canon. The characters are believable and well-developed, the plot is literate and interesting, the action is balanced and distinctly Star Wars—completely unlike any of the recent installments. I can’t wait to see more like this! The disc package left nothing to be desired.

This one was better than any of the prequels, and better than the latest sequel as well. The only "obvious" plot weakness was the death of the main protaganists at the the end (after all none of then show in the original 3 movies). But it flows well into the original Star Wars. The digital mapping of Peter Cushing's face is excellent, the mapping of Carrie Fisher not so much...too bad K2SO wasn't in more...much cooler droid than C3PO (and not whiney, let's face it the only Star Wars characters more whiney are adult Anikin and Jar Jar in his own way) good casting, great effects and a good plot . Get it, it's fun.

This movie relates the story of the heroic efforts that went into obtaining the technical readouts of the Death Star, and how they were delivered to the Rebellion, leading right up to the opening of A New Hope. It is well made and feels like it fits perfectly with the other movies. Good acting, good dialogue, and great cinematography.

Typical dvd packaging on the outaide. The only thing i didnt like was that there are 3 discs included in set. 2 of which are stored on same nub. Even worse the bluray disc was the top one. Meaning if you had issues trying to get it out you ran greater risk of scratching medium. Other than that though great set. Lots of extra features

Enjoyed it multiple times when it released and glad I was able to finally get it on blu-ray. The BD has demo worthy audio and video and the story is a great tie in between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. It might be have a slow beginning for some but the second half is awesome and the end is phenomenal. Highly recommended

Loved the movie - the SteelBook edition to me is like a collectors edition. I place it beside the other SteelBook movies I own and it looks sharp in my library of DVDs and Blu-Rays. I don't have a 3D TV, so that disc is useless to me. However, the the blu-ray looks fantastic. I adding enjoy the Digital copy to my digital library, too.

Great movie and much like the title reads, better than force awakens. It's a story solely focused on their characters and it is an interesting story that needed to be told. It increases appreciation for the original trilogy. Steel book in the other hand, well let's just say the cover could have been much much better. All else is fine.

There isn't much that needs to be said... Its Star Wars, and nearly all things Star Wars are awesome! This was a great movie that filled in some plot holes, introduced us to some new characters, had an incredible story line, and frankly had one of the best endings of any Star Wars movie. I Highly recommend this if you do not own it..

And I thought The Empire Strikes Back was my favorite (which still is) until this gem came along. Wish there was more director stuff, missed footage, etc. I have watched this a dozen times now. Only scene I don't like is the Bor Gullet. What is this fascination with an oddity like that? Otherwise, it is a superb piece of film-making.

I'll be honest, when I heard Disney was taking over the Star Wars legacy, I was pretty worried. However, this movie turned out amazing, and keeping up with the SteelBook designs makes my collection look pretty awesome too. I could leave a review about the movie, but let's be honest, if you are here, you probably have already seen it.

This movie is simply awesome. It is a prequel to the original star wars from 1977 and it has cameos from the original characters some of which are post humuous. This movie has a great story and plenty of action. Regardless of if you are a die hard star wars fan or a casual fan, this movie is super entertaining.
